Chapter 13

Recap : "Yeji? Are you okay? And where the hell is that bitch Yoora?! I need to teach her a lesson!"

THIRD PERSON'S POV:
Yeji smiled at Lia who was looking at her with concern.

"I'm fine and don't need to talk to that
Yoora!"
Yeji said with disagreement and Lia was about to say something again but Yeji glared at her.

"Yeji, how are you?"
They heard a voice and saw four girls coming inside the medical room. They were Yuna, Chaeryeong, Ryujin and Kazuha. Yeji nodded at them with a smile.

"And about Yoora, coach threw her out of the team."
Kazuha said and Lia sighed in relief.

"Thank God!"
Lia said as the girls looker at her.

"Oh my god! You're Lia right?!"
Yuna said excitedly and Lia nodded.

"How do you know?"
Lia asked to which Ryujin decided to reply.

"You're quite famous here!"
Ryujin said and Lia looked at her three friends with a proud smile. Her eyes then fell on Soobin and something clicked in her mind.

The four girls left the room and nurse told them that they can Yeji's condition is normal now so the four decided to go to home as their competition were starting from next week.

Yeonjun and Soobin dropped the girls at their dorm. As soon as they left, Lia held Yeji's arm.

"Do you know that Soobin's birthday is coming soon?"
Lia asked and Yeji looked at her in surprise.

"No, and how do YOU know that?!"
Yeji asked while widening her eyes in surprise making Lia a little nervous.

"Don't tell me you stalked him!"
Yeji made an assumption and Lia looked at her in disbelief.

"Are you serious?! Why would I?!"
Lia said in disbelief while taking steps on the stairs.

"It's because you like him!"
Lia stopped walking when she heard Yeji say that.

"What?! No! I mean Yes, I do like him but how do you that?!"
Lia asked and Yeji now had a playful smile on her face.

"Oh my dear cupid has fallen in love!"
Yeji said while swaying Lia who was looking at her in surprise.

"Also, you did not tell me how you know his birthday!"
Yeji again asked getting to the point.

"I asked Yeonjun."
Lia said and Yeji looked at her in shock at the mention of Yeonjun.

"And he told you?! He didn't suspect?"
Yeji asked and Lia put the keys in the keyhole.

"I don't know, you can’t read emotions on text."
Lia said, not caring but Yeji stood there still trying to process what Lia said.

"On text?! You have his number?!"
Yeji asked raising her voice a little.

"I DIDN'T TELL YOU?!"
Now, Lia was in a greater shock. Yeji nodded, and after the dramatic segment, they both got back inside the dorm as if nothing happened.

"Damn, I've got a goldfish memory."
Lia said jokingly.

"True."
Yeji said right after. Yeji wasn't feeling jealous of Lia at all as she had a strong trust in her.

"By the way, as I was saying, Soobin's birthday is close. We should give him a surprise party!"
Lia said and Yeji passed her a teasing smile.

"When's his birthday?"
Yeji asked making Lia's eyes gleam.

"Fifteen October."
She said and Yeji sat up straight.

"And the competition is on fourteenth right?"
Yeji asked and Lia nodded.

"What should we gift him?"
Yeji asked and Lia took her phone out in a rush.

"Let's ask Yeonjun."
Lia said and started texting him.

What is it?

Lia
Do you perhaps know about Soobin's likes or dislikes?

Yeonjun

Oh damn, you seem too serious about him 😏

Anyways, I was asking because me and Yeji are planning to give him a surprise birthday party.

Yeonjun

Lia

He really likes collecting perfumes, he has perfumes of almost every brand. Chanel, dior, Ralph Lauren, Prada. You name it.

Lia
BITCH JUST TELL ME SOMETHING I CAN AFFORD. EVEN ME AND YEJI CAN'T BUY ANY OF THESE EVEN IF WE COLLECT OUR WHOLE POCKET MONEY.

Yeji was reading their texts along. She sat on her bed and looked at Lia with a confused expression.

"What did you decide for his gift?"
Yeji asked and Lia smiled.

"Just know that it would be special for him!"
Lia said and Yeji shook her shoulders.

"So how's the preparation going?"
Yeji asked and Lia looked at her in confusion.

"What preparation?"
Lia said as she laid down on her bed scrolling instagram.

"About your competition!"
Yeji said and Lia sat up straight at an instant looking at her in surprise.

"I LITERALLY FORGOT ABOUT IT!"
Lia said. No, she shouted.

"Well, thank me."
Yeji said and she stood up and started searching for something inside her closet. She finally took out a small bag and started to pack her water bottle, towel and rubberband.

"Going out for practice?"
Lia asked to which Yeji nodded.

"Yeah."
Yeji replied as she put the bag on her shoulder.

"Come on time! And don't you dare go to anywhere else, be careful!"
Lia instructed while Yeji just chuckled.

"Okay mom!"
Yeji yelled before leaving and Lia could just smile at Yeji calling her mom.

Lia went back and started searching for some fabrics in her closet with the intention to make a dress out of them.

Meanwhile Yeji, who just walked out of her dorm building, spotted someone unexpected in a car near her dorm.

"Yeonjun? What is he doing here?!"
