she was sitting against a tree, with her bow and arrows beside her, she humming a tune, while watching the birds with a gentle


"Hey little train, we're jumping on
The train that goes to the Kingdom"   Amara started to sing softly


"We're happy, Ma, we're having fun
The train ain't even left the station"    


Amara slowly stand up, and started to twirl and giggled, and continued to sing.


"Hey, little train, wait for me.
I once was blind but now I see.
Well, have you left a seat for me?
Is that beyond my wildest expectation?"   


Amara stopped singing when she heard a noise, she gasped, then she looked around, she quickly ran and grabbed her bow and arrows, she heard a twig snapped, she picked a arrow from behind her. then slip it between her bow string getting ready.

suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder, she yelp in fear, she turn around getting ready to fire her arrow but then she didn't when she saw her best friend Terrance who was fifteen years old with his hand up in surrender.

"Woah, archer girl. no need to shoot."  Terrance said with a amused smile

Amara sighed in relief seeing it was her friend, then gave him a annoyed looked, she smack his arm.

"Damn you. Terrance!"  Amara said making the older boy laugh

"it's not funny." she huffed

"Sorry didn't mean to scare you."  Terrance said.

the archer girl sighed "It's fine, it's ok."  she said with a slight smlie


Amara and Terrance were on a tree, Amara's head was on Terrance's shoulder, whlie fiddling with her necklace, that her mother gave her when she was 9.

"by the way." Terrance started

the younger girl hummed and removed her head from her older friend's shoulder, Terrance took out two cookies from his pocket. and handed one to his friend.

"I swipe you a cookie." he said

the green eyed girl smiled then took it "thanks."

she took a bite and hummed with diligent.
