What I saw would traumatize me forever. Hayden struggled against my father, a knife against his throat. I watched him try to kick his knees and remove his arm but it didn't work. I began to hyperventilate uncontrollably. Tears filled my eyes. There was no way I could just fail him now. He was dying as I overthought and I was the one crying. I could tell he was about to but he even had it together more than I did. "JAXXON FERSBEE MORNINGSTAR IF YOU DON'T KILL THIS LITTLE BASTARD SHIT I WILL...." Lucifer threatened. "F-Father please-" I started. He slit Hayden's throat. As soon as his eyes closed, my father mercilessly dropped him to the ground.
"Finally that peasant is gone." He complained. The audacity he had. He just killed my boyfriend. Hayden was dead- Just when we were finally dating, my father killed him off. I choked down my tears. Honestly I wanted to be Hayden after what happened. Dead. What even was my life without him...? I pondered. "Now, since he is gone, go ask out Raven." Satan commanded.
As I walked to her dorm, he followed me, staring intently. I knocked on Raven's door in shame. She answered. I saw her open her mouth to insult me, but abruptly stopped when she saw my-...Father. "Oh. Hey." She greeted. "Hello..." I muttered in shame. He elbowed me. Ow. "Ask her out, moron." My father whispered. I sighed. "Do you want to go on a date with me...?" I unwillingly asked. Even though Hayden wasn't awake, it still felt like I was cheating on him. I felt horrible. It felt like I was choosing my enemy over him. Just leaving him to die in our dorm as I ask out some girl that I didn't even like.
RAVEN'S POV
Help me. Jaxx mouthed. The fear in his eyes begged me to say yes just so his dad would be happy. I plastered a smile on my face, playing along with it. "Sure." I agreed. Satan's red eyes lit up. "Great. The both of you are going to go on a date tomorrow." I stood in misery. "Cool..." I muttered. His dad opened a portal and left.
The moment he left Jaxx burst into tears hyperventilating. "What happened?" I asked. All I heard was "Hayden is dead" and "He's in the dorm". I ran to their shared room, busting open the door. He wasn't lying. I saw a slit through Hayden's throat, and scattered cuts and bruises on him. "JAXX GET OVER HERE!!" I yelled. He stumbled inside. "Pick him up and bring him to the nurse." I commanded. He did as I told him to.
