Serena's Point of View

The Fortress of Meropide. It is an autonomous stronghold located underwater that serves as Fontaine's de facto prison. It is where criminals and other accused are sent after being convicted in a trial to serve out their sentences and has a notorious reputation in Fontaine.

Wriothesley is the Prison's administrator, in other words he is the Duke of Meropide so to speak. A title granted to him by me and Neuvillette after his outstanding services to Fontaine.

If you were to ask me, I would've hesitated to hand him over that role. He simply does not deserve it. That preposterous fool. Hmph.

"Vile dog." I said to myself thinking of Wriothesley and his antics. I scoffed and crossed my arms as I sat in a chair of the boat. My expression was rather looking agitated and i closed my eyes so that it doesn't show on the boat driver as it could cause an awkward situation and he already looks uncomfortable enough.

Jokes on me it was as awkward and uncomfortable for him as it could be, my constant scoffing, huffing and puffing probably made him think that he's all his fault meanwhile I was thinking about the Duke of Meropide- Why am I even thinking about him? That damned dog.

I departed off the boat and walked up my way to the administrative area of Meropide, I passed by a few guardemekks and they seemed... as stiff as mechanical mekkas would be. What a surprise.

As soon as I reached the Administrative area, the first person to greet and wait for me there, was Wriothesley.

"Princess." He smirked at me. I did a small curtesy out of respect and immediately crossed my arms. He laughed the moment he saw my mad expression on my face.

"Still got a stick up your ass I see." He laughed and I groaned in frustration.
"Excuse you!" I shouted, "This way of speech is beyond comprehension. It's no way to speak to a refined lady."

"I see no refined lady." Wriothesley stated, my mouth gaped shocked. How dare he say that?
"You..." I said and immediately felt my body get electrified, I'm better than this however. His words cannot affect me.

"Well then, I shall not endure this for long." I stated and walked up to his office.
"Wow, seems like someone woke up on the wrong fin." He stated.

"And it seems as though someone forgot to put on his leash today." I said as I walked beside him. He laughed at that, how dare he refer to me as a simple fish and laugh when I call him a dog? He's such an amazing example of how to not respect the crown.

We reached the entrance of his office. It was rather a large door given the circumstances. On top of it was the sign of the Administrator of Meropide, the very familiar wolf like creature.
