"Kamala! You are not going on any space adventures, Nicholas has told me now dangerous they can be." Kamala's mom said through the hologram "It's just Fury" Kamala said to her mom "I am agreeing with her, No space adventures. It's one thing saving New York but no intergalactic travel" my mom said "mom I love you and all but you unfortunately don't have a choice in this" I said awkwardly "Wait. Where are you guys where is Abu?" Kamala asked as Nick Fury turned the camera to face who I can assume was her dad. As they talked to her I was Messaging Peter. My mom was just sitting there agreeing with that Kamala's family were saying so I thought I'd let him know.
"What do I say when they ask why your absent?" Peter asked through text
"just make it up. Say I have Covid or something" I texted back
"will you be okay?" He texted
"I'll be fine Peter, trust me I can handle this" I texted back
"who are you texting?" Monica smirked "just my boyfriend" I replied with slight blush "aw, does he know about-" "my powers? Yep. I was with him when the whole switching thing happened" I replied "oh so that's why I was in an alleyway with Spiderman" she said as she raised an eyebrow playfully, I tilted my head with confusion then realized what she was implying "Not like that!" I yelled as my face heated up, Kamala continued to talk to her parents.
"Got to go now, Text u later, the Signal is surprisingly good in space" I texted
"Okay, stay safe" he texted back
"I will Xxx" I texted as I turned off my phone.
"Mrs Khan and Miss L/N, I'm sorry but your daughter's have to stay aboard my ship until we get to the bottom of those" Carol said to them "You will let them go!" Mrs Khan said to her "I second that, bring our daughters back this instant!" My mom said "mom-" "Mrs Khan and Miss L/N, it's not that simple we need those two." Monica said to them "Ammi, we found Nanis other bangel, and there's this weirdly beautiful but kind of terrifying woman using the other one to hurt people but-" "what Kamala is trying to say is that if we leave then we won't be able to stop her" i said cutting in "your telling me theres another bangel? And they're going to use it to hurt you?" Mrs Khan said to Kamala "and you won't be on earth this time, how will I know if you're hurt" My mom said to me "Monica will take care of them" Nick Fury said to them "and we will, we will make sure they get back home in one piece" Monica said "or two if you're lucky" I mumbled "funny but not helping." Carol whispered "I promise" Monica finished. "Stay the course. We'll figure out how to close those jump points." Nick said to us
"Y/N. On behalf of Mrs Khan and I tell her that if anything happens to you two le romperé el maldito cuello!!! Tell her that! I love you" my mum said to me. Then the call ended "what did she say?" Carol asked "she said she trusts you completely and loves you" I lied
Time skip
I sat on the couch listening to Kamala come up with awesome hero name idea for Monica, "y'know Professor Marvel isn't off the table yet" I called over "says you, you picked the predictable one, Super Marvel" Monica joked "I was under pressure, give me a break." I replied with a playful eye roll "that pressure being?" Monica asked "saved my first person, there was a crowd watching, they asked for a name and I saw a Captain Marvel poster and said the first thing that came to mind, which just so happened to be uncreative and unoriginal" I shrugged "right. Well I don't want or need a code name" Monica said as she guided Kamala towards me and Carol "why?" Kamala sighed "besides, none of it matters if we're not coordinated out there." Monica said to us "wanna figure out the switchy thing?" Carol asked "hell yeah" I grinned, and then me and Kamala switched as Carol and Monica switched "Powers stay activated after a switch. Good to know" Monica smiled "okay Everyone together on three. Ready? 1 2 3 Go-" before she could finish the word go me, Kamala and Monica switched "now why would you say Ho I'd we're going on three?" Kamala asked "didn't think it through?" I asked "I'm aware." Carol said to us. You know what. CUE THE EPIC MONTAGE!!!!
