Chapter 3

Deadeye was sitting in his base, holding the jade serpent in his hand. He was admiring the green gem, which sparkled in the light. He had always wanted to possess the jade serpent, not only for its value, but also for its symbolism. It represented the power and authority of the triad, and he wanted to take that away from Gavin. He wanted to humiliate him, and make him suffer. He wanted to show him who was the boss. He smiled wickedly, thinking about his plan. He had kidnapped Gavin and Scott,
and he had demanded the jade serpent in exchange for their lives. He knew that Gavin would never agree to that, and he didn't care. He just wanted to play with him, and torture him. He had a surprise waiting for him at the trailer park, where he had planted a bomb. He had set the timer to go off when the deadline expired.

He checked his watch, and saw that he had only 15 minutes left. He chuckled, imagining the explosion. He was about to call Gavin, and taunt him one last time, when his phone rang. He looked at the caller ID, and saw that it was one of his henchmen. He answered the phone, and heard a panicked voice.

"Boss, we have a problem. Hiro Hiroshima is coming for you. He knows where you are. He has a reporter with him. They're on their way. What should we do?"'''
