I pulled up to school the next day to do what I love doing. Ever since he asked, it was all I could think about. It's all that I could think about. It was like the days passed by so slowly. I look forward to getting closer to him but most importantly, Irene. I put my hair in a low puff because I didn't care about putting too much effort into the hair today, takes up way too much of my time to miss out on seeing my babies.

I wore a BAPE jumpsuit paired with my glasses and decided to just keep it casual. My afro puff holding a pen in there because my memory is so shitty that it's insane. Besides that, I walked down the halls with my steel bottle of water in my hand with all the graded work in the nook of my arm.

As I opened the door with my keys, my friend from across the hall came over to me with a bright smile on her face and visible excitement. It's too early in the morning to be this happy so I just stared at her blankly, waiting for him to explain what got her so giddy at 7 am.

"Morninggg"

"What's up"

"Girl I was in Walmart, tryna get some stuff for my dinner or whatever and I see this tall, fine, strong man, and he...I can't even explain it-"

I smiled a lil because she always gets so lovey-dovey over any dude who gives her attention, and imma always support the delusions because if I don't then who will? I left my keys in the door of my classroom and decided to turn around to give her all my attention because I like to make people feel like they matter and that what they are saying is being cared for or listened to. I brought my mouth to the rubber nozzle of my bottle as I spoke.

"So did you talk to him or was you too busy daydreamin about which position you was tryna get in, I already knew what you was on by the looks of yo face, ya nasty" I smiled then started to take a sip and leaned my back against the door.

"I stepped up this time for yo information. Got his name and everything thank you"

"Oh for real? tell me whatchu got goin on den." I said with my mouth not leaving the bottle once.

"I walked up to him while he was picking out some fruits, I bumped him on "accident" and that's how I got my conversation goin, some lil small talk to get the mood comfortable. He had the cutest little daughter too, I think she's one of yo babies."

I stopped in my tracks. My smile faded real quick and my heart sank, even choked on my water. I completely stood there silent and frozen until I responded.

"What's his name?" I replied with my tone switching from a friendly one to a dead one. My body began to stiffen up.

"Louis~," She said back almost instantly. I started to feel a bit of bitterness in me the way she said his name. My eyebrows went from softened to tensed.

"Oh." I said, sipping my water again then decided to finish putting in my keys and then walk into my classroom. So much annoyance filled my heart to the point where I felt some adrenaline of rage.

I don't want it feel like i'm gatekeeping him or anything but ion want random bitches just finding him and talking to him. I sat down in my desk as she followed me, wondering why I was acting so out of order. While I sat there, I realized how i'm starting to feel towards him. I want this nigga to be my friend and nun else but that but as soon as a decent dude treats me wit the bare minimum then I start actin out. This shit is ridiculous and I need to lose these feelings real fast.

"You good?"

"Yea I'm ight. I just remembered I got hella papers to put in my grade book chile"

She gave me a smile that seemed like a relief then walked out before saying something.

"Well imma just leave you to dat and we can catch up wit some lunch later." She said as she waved then closed my door.

I slammed my head on the desk and screamed in my head.

"DAMNNNNN DAMNNNNNN DAMNNNNNNNNNN"
