Third Person's POV

After the party, Lucas stepped into the tranquil garden, the soft glow of the moon casting a silver sheen over the lush foliage, he couldn't shake the weight of his thoughts.

The weight of unresolved tension hung heavy in the air, suffocating him with its silent presence.

But as he turned a corner, he stumbled upon a sight that took him by surprise—Sofia, sitting alone on a bench, her shoulders hunched as if burdened by the weight of the world.

For a moment, he hesitated, unsure of whether to intrude upon her solitude. But something within him urged him forward, a yearning to bridge the gap that had grown between them.

Approaching her cautiously, Lucas cleared his throat, his voice tentative as he spoke.

Lucas worriedly asked, "Sofia? I'm sorry if I'm intruding, but are you alright?"

Sofia's head snapped up at the sound of his voice, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.

For a moment, they simply stared at each other, the weight of their unspoken history hanging heavy in the air.

But then, to Lucas's surprise, Sofia spoke, her voice barely above a whisper.

Sofia offered, parting the empty seat beside her, "No, Lucas. You're not intruding. Please, sit with me."

Taking a seat beside her, Lucas felt a wave of uncertainty wash over him. He wasn't sure what to say, how to mend the rift that had grown between them.

But before he could gather his thoughts, Sofia spoke again, her voice trembling with emotion.

Sofia started crying, "I'm sorry, Lucas. I'm sorry for everything that happened between us. I miss the friendship we had, the laughter and the shared moments. I miss you."

Lucas was taken aback by her words, the sincerity in her voice cutting through the walls he had built around his heart.

For a moment, he was speechless, overwhelmed by the flood of emotions that washed over him.

But then, without thinking, he reached out and pulled Sofia into his arms, enveloping her in a warm embrace.

And as she melted against him, her tears mingling with his own, he realized that perhaps, just perhaps, there was hope for them yet.

Lucas replied, comforting the Infanta in his arms, "I miss you too, Sofia. I'm sorry for everything. Let's start over, shall we? Let's bring back the friendship we once had." It pained him to see that Sofia was crying, especially when the reason was him all along

Sofia nodded, her voice choked with emotion as she whispered her agreement. And in that moment, as they sat together in the quiet serenity of the garden, Lucas knew that they had taken the first step towards healing old wounds and rediscovering the bond that had once united them.

As they sat together in the gentle embrace of the night, the awkwardness that had once hung between them seemed to melt away, replaced by a sense of ease and familiarity that felt like coming home.

With each passing moment, they found themselves slipping back into the easy rhythm of their friendship, the years apart melting away as they caught up on the lost time.

Lucas took the courage to ask Sofia, "So, tell me, Sofia. What have you been up to all these years?"

Sofia replied, "Oh, you know, the usual. Royal duties, endless meetings, and trying to navigate the complexities of palace life."
