I settled down next to my dad while we waited for Aiden to arrive. I had invited him over out of boredom, realizing that I didn't have many friends to spend time with. Dad was engrossed in his work, tinkering away on a boot for the new suit in the workshop, with his trusty robot by his side.

"Next. Up. Not in the boot, Dummy. Right here. You got me?" Dad instructed the robot, his focus was unwavering. As Dad continued his work, I decided to occupy myself by perusing through the files he had about his suit. "Stay put. Nice. You're of no benefit at all. Move down to the toe," Dad scolded the robot. I couldn't help but chuckle at his reprimand. "Hey, don't yell at him!" I interjected playfully.

Just as I was about to delve deeper into the files, a notification popped up on my phone, pulling my attention away momentarily.

I blushed at the text, Aiden calling me princess. I hadn't realized he was such a flirt. "Aiden's here. I'm going to go hang out with him... show me the boot after I come back!" I informed Dad, planting a kiss on his cheek. He smiled and nodded in agreement as I headed upstairs.

Opening the door for Aiden, I found him dressed in a white dress shirt with two unbuttoned buttons, and I couldn't help but blush slightly. "You look handsome," I complimented with a chuckle. Aiden returned the smile, saying, "You look adorable. I should've worn something casual instead of going all out..." His words made me blush even more, and I smiled in response.

"Do you want to go out for some food? or do you want to make a mess in the kitchen?" I inquired as we settled down on the couch.

"How about we make a mess another day? I'd like to take you out to the park. We can eat anything you'd like," Aiden suggested, his gaze fixed on mine.

"I'd love to...!" I exclaimed with a smile. "I'll wait for you in the car, princess," he added with a wink. I rolled my eyes playfully and sent a quick text to Dad before joining Aiden.
