As I slowly woke from my slumber, a sense of carefree relaxation washed over me, only to be quickly replaced by a slight soreness between my thighs. Blinking my eyes open, I realized with a jolt that I was cuddled in bed with Liam, his strong arms wrapped around me protectively.

The reason for my soreness became all too clear as memories of our passionate night flooded my mind. Liam always woke up with a hunger for me, and I found myself unable to resist his advances, giving in to him completely.

Blushing furiously, I started to apologize and move away, but before I could even utter a word, Liam abruptly pulled me back into his arms, his voice husky with sleep as he murmured for me to stay.

Feeling a rush of warmth and contentment, I nestled back into his embrace, allowing myself to bask in the comfort of his arms.

Despite the lingering soreness, I couldn't help but feel a sense of fulfillment and happiness in his presence, knowing that I was exactly where I belonged.

"I like it when your wrapped up in my arms." Liam says further making me blush.

Ugh, I knew this was wrong. I knew sleeping with my client was forbidden but then I remembered my boss's words explaining that her Senior Associates and partners all did dirty things including sleeping with their clients.

I guess I was no better than them.

"I want your advise on something."

Liam's voice broke the comfortable silence between us, pulling me from my thoughts. I looked up at his handsome features, curiosity flickering in my hazel eyes as I waited for him to speak.

"What is it?" I asked, my voice soft with sleep.

Liam hesitated for a moment before finally speaking. "How much money do you think it would take to have a happy life with someone, without having to work and just living happily ever after? Like, for a family of four or more, maybe."

I furrowed my brow, taken aback by the sudden question. "Why do you ask?" I inquired, my curiosity piqued.

He shrugged nonchalantly. "It's something I saw on television, I think it's quite interesting." he replied vaguely.

Liam's question caught me off guard, but I maintained a professional demeanor as I considered his inquiry. "Well, it depends on various factors such as location, lifestyle, children's education, and other expenses," I began, my tone measured.

"Taking all of that into account, I would estimate that a family of four could live comfortably with around two million or less," I concluded, offering him a very vague analysis of the financial considerations involved.

Liam nodded, seemingly satisfied with my calculation. As the conversation lapsed into a reflective silence, I couldn't help but wonder about the motivations behind his sudden interest in such matters.

Another one of Liam's question took me by surprise once again. "Have you ever heard cases where clients ask their attorneys to increase the amount being sued for just before the trial ends?" he inquired, his tone serious and contemplative.

Feeling a sense of confusion about the question's timing, I nodded slowly. "Yes, it's not unheard of for clients to request adjustments to the amount being sued for as the trial nears its conclusion," I replied, trying to maintain my composure despite the unexpected nature of Liam's inquiry.

"However, there are exceptions and circumstances where it may be possible to amend the amount being sued for, such as if new evidence or circumstances come to light during the trial that warrant an adjustment. Additionally, if the trial has not concluded and a settlement has not been reached, parties may negotiate and agree to adjust the amount being sought through a settlement agreement."
