Remus

I hate Moon Week and Lia is getting suspicious of me and the boys. Wormtail, Prongs, and Pads are all talking about how easily they will top the class since they already know how to do them from the process of becoming animagi. I'm half asleep staring at the front of the class when the girls walk in and to my shock, Lia is with them. She never comes to defense why is she here now? I think looking at her, Lia looks at me with a worried look that tells me just how sick I look. She sits between Mary and Marlene and talks with them until Umbridge comes in, the second she walks into the classroom her eyes narrow in on Lia instantly,

"Gryffindor, you finally decided we were a worthy class to show up to?" Umbridge says in a high-pitched voice, all of the Slytherins laugh loudly making me wince at the loud noise. Lia takes a sharp breath and scratches the back of her hand Weird, I think, I haven't seen her do that before, she ignores Professor Umbridge and the Slytherins. I continue to notice how Umbridge looks at her with deep hatred before she starts the lesson, "Today we are doing Patronus' This magic is for those worthy, so all Mudbloods and half-bloods get out of my class now," Umbridge says and my jaw drop and I can feel the anger radiating off my friends, hesitantly I stand up along with Lily and other half-blood and muggle-born witches and wizards. 

"Get out then Umbitch," Lia spits glaring at Umbridge harder and far meaner than she did to me earlier today. Umbridge looks at Lia with a look of disgust,

"Excuse me?!" Umbridge squeaks and Lia stands up placing a hand on Lily's shoulder and gently pushing her into the seat,

"You heard me Half-blood, all of the people you are trying to send out are more pure than your fucking tainted blood," Lia says deadly calm, eye eyes widen when I hear Lia call Umbridge a Half-blood. The classroom is silent I can only hear Umbridge's angry heavy breathing,

"How dare you accus-" If I thought Lia couldn't rattle me more today I was wrong when she interrupts Umbridge,

"Oh I dare Umbitch so stand up the front and teach us ALL," She laughs humorlessly glaring at Umbridge, and in all honesty right now, is why she was almost put in Slytherin. Umbridge glares back at her before breaking away from what looks like imitation and I swear Lia is smirking evilly. I sit back down with everyone else who stood up and I look at Prongs and Pads and they are just staring at Lia shocked, if I'm not mistaken they seem a bit proud like they think they are rubbing off on her. For the next twenty minutes, Lia looks like she is about to fall asleep while everyone struggles to keep up with the note Umbridge is getting us to write. Umbridge finally has had enough and calls out Lia,

"Miss Gryffindor, are you paying attention?" I can't see Lia's face but I guarantee she is opening her eyes like she was just asleep,

"No," Lia answers unfazed and shrugs,

"Come on then stand up the front and tell the class about patronus'" Umbridge says looking at Lia smugly. Lia doesn't make an attempt to move and just sits there, "Or do you not think you can?" Umbridge adds Umbridge is giving her a challenge, she won't back down, I think as I watch Lia stand up and move to the front of the class. With a wave of Lia's wand notes are put on the board a lot simpler than Umbridge's but still detailed, Lia stands her back facing the class and Umbridge watches her from the side her confidence slowly diminishing.

"A Patronus charm's main use is to repel dementors, if strong enough it can also repel all dark magic. Protego and the Fidelius charm are based on it for thes-" Lia starts explaining when she is interrupted,

"That-" Umbridge interrupts but she raises her voice over her,

"For these reasons, the Patronus charm is created by using one's happiest memory and saying the spell 'Expecto patronum'" She explains a lot clearer than Umbridge's notes. When Lia says the spell a lioness patronus springs from her wand. My eyes widen when I realise it was an accident, just as quickly as it appears she makes it disappear.
