"Okay so next time for my birthday we will have a party and no hiking...ever again!"

"It's not your fault baby you had no idea that we would be stuck in a cave and have to be airlifted out." Maverick said.

"All I want is a hot bath, a warm bed, waffles, pancakes and bacon, or steak and fries I really don't care which." I hear Flex say.

It's the next afternoon and we are all packed and ready to go. Brian said that there was a search and rescue mission that needed the attention of the park rangers and that we would be airlifted before night fall. We've been in this cave for three days now. Needless to say we are all ready for three baths, a hot meal, and a soft bed. Turning on my phone I see a message from my sister Brook then Reanna both asking if we are okay.

Sending them a message that I was fine I turn back off my phone because I only have 20% charge left. Checking on Sydney and Tierra I wanted to make sure that Sydney was okay, especially because I recalled her statements about her mom and dad.

"Flex, can I talk to you for a minute. I was really concern about the comments that Sydney was making concerning her mom and dad. Do you know anything about what she said."

"Janell, I've been up all night thinking about what she said. I don't know any details, but I will. And thanks for caring, and helping me with her."

"Hey does anyone have a signal on their phone." Mercedes ask.

"No mine is dead." Bishop states.

"Sorry, mines been dead since the second day. I was taking pictures and stuff the whole time." I say.

"Yeah so is mine." Tracy and Mel say in unison.

"I have mine, but I don't have a signal." Leslie say looking at her charged phone. "I rarely use it outside of work and since I'm with the boss man, and Tierra is with me, I don't have anyone blowing up my phone."

"Sorry kid, mines dead." Flex state.

"Donavan, how about you, or Brian is your phone working." Mercedes ask with concern.

"No!"

"Sorry, no!"

"Hey Brooklyn how about you." Mercedes ask as she walks towards the mouth of the cave where Brooklyn is standing. "Mercedes, I've been trying to call William since last night and he isn't picking up, and now my phone is dead."

"Yeah, I've been trying to contact Avery since last night then the signal was lost. I don't know if it's because of the weather last night or what." I say.

"I'm sure that's why we haven't heard from the guys yet. Mercedes the signal could be faint due to the storms or there's no power in the area, you never know what's going on out in the real world. We've been in this cave for three days to long." Brooklyn say, turning back to continue to look outside the cave.

"I'm sure Brooklyn's right." Donavan adds trying to add some reassurance.

"Listen guys the kids just ate the last of the food, so if we don't get out of here we are screwed. I'm packing the rest of this up so when the chopper comes we can get out of this hole. No disrespect to any of y'all, but we all smell like hot trash and I for one will be taking a three hour shower." I say as I gather the trash and containers that had been discarded throughout the cave for the last three day.

"Hey baby let me help you." Maverick said as he takes the trash out of my hand and put it into the trash bags Tracy found in the bottom of her book bag. I knew that I had packed them, but I couldn't remember where. If only I had packed toothpaste, soap, and a shower I would have been on point.
