How can I read what you're thinking?
Should I be reading between the lines
To know what you're not saying?
Do I make you uncomfortable? Have I been doing things wrong?
Should I step on the brakes? Have I been ignoring the signs all along?

So many things I should have asked, but I didn't
I might have been moving way too fast, now I couldn't
See the stop signs and few miles back
Now I'm speeding way off track
