How To Date

I watched Bella Poarch's interview in the podcast 'Call Her Daddy' and it is so relatable. They discussed serious and deep topics but a part of the conversation touched on the topic of dating and Bella said something in the line of 'How does dating work? I can never tell if someone likes me or not. Are we dating or you just like hanging out with me?' and I after I heard it, I felt that.

A day ago, I spoke with my bestfriend. She and I go waaaay back in college, which was like back in 2008 so we know each other a lot. More like sisters. And like siblings, we don't really talk every day. We do some 'catch ups', which happens every quarter and those conversations are meaningful. It's not like gossiping everyday until we get tired of each other. As bestfriends, we don't have to talk everyday but we make sure we are in each other's lives and I am even more updated than those who lives around her. For context, we live far away from each other now so we can't just grab a coffee on a whim.

How does it work, anyway? I don't think there's a step-by-step guide nor there is any right or wrong answer...right?
