It was the following week when Riley saw Robyn again away from school. The biker had been feeling more lost and confused than she could remember. It was a horrible feeling, doubt, it kept her up at night while her mind filtered through this ending and it was only going to be like this for a short time.

It made her sick with worry that it was actually over, she cried herself to sleep like it was. It made her angry that she'd caused it by being so careless with her phone, it made her angerier that all the messages ended up on social media. If this ended she'd told herself she was going to beat the living daylights out of Jenny.

She missed the teacher more than she ever thought possible, and dreamed of holding her and the way they would look at each other, her lips, the taste of her kiss. The way her body would respond and the noises the blonde would make while they made love. She missed it all.

"Marshall!" The call came from the classroom door. Robyn gave a flash of a smile.

Riley watched as her father stood up from the waiting line of seats. Then followed him into the English class.  Her father took a seat after being invited too by her lover. Riley remained standing at his side.

"Do you want to take a seat too?" Robyn asked.

"No she will stand, it is me that is here to talk with you." Hank said with a tone of authority.

Robyn glanced up at the student,  who was almost standing at attention, eyes fixed on the wall behind.

"Mr Marshall. Pleased to meet you. I'm Robyn Westland. Your daughter has been doing reasonably well in class. Now you will be aware that she had a re-sit on her mock exam. She passed this with a B-."

The biker momentarily smiled. Until her father turned around.

"A re-sit?" He turned back to the teacher.

"Well yes it was recommended that she take her exams with a scribe, as I believe she is dyslexic. Now she managed to scrape through everything else on her own but with this being an English exam I couldn't pass her."

"So you're saying that she's some kind of retard."

"Mr Marshall we don't use that language and no that is not what I am saying. Your daughter is a smart young woman. She's also very well mannered and kind." Robyn stopped herself short of saying and I love her. But she sent a quick glance to the student which said exactly that.

Hank Marshall nodded, "well i'd bloody kill her, if she was anything other than well mannered. Now Ma'am we both know she's not academically astute all I want to know is will she pass?"

"You know Sir life isn't all about academia. Have you ever seen your daughter swim? She is like an Olympic champion. Seriously fast. She is also a pretty good teacher, she taught me. Of course it was a bit of a shock when I saw who my instructor was. But she is so respectful and patient."

"Hmmm. Well I just want her to pass a high school diploma. I don't care what she does outside, she needs to focus or she'll not achieve anything."

Riley gulped. She knew her father's insistence was well placed but she just once wanted to hear him say well done. Maybe if she gets through this. Has her certificate.

"She'll pass English. I'll make sure of it."

Hank stood up and offered his hand. Robyn shook it.

As they started to walk away Riley looked over her shoulder.

"Marshall! Come here for a moment please."

The student returned to the teacher's desk.

"I thought you'd want your exam paper back. I've added some comments for you consider on the back page."
