The soft melody of Aashvi's mother voice gently roused her from her slumber. "Aashvi beta, wake up," she called, her warm tone permeating the room. Aashvi stretched, a contented smile gracing her lips as she hugged her mother. "Good morning, Maa," she murmured, her voice still heavy with sleep.
"Good morning, my doll. Now, wake up, otherwise you will be late for school. Tell me, what you want to eat for breakfast?" her mother asked, her eyes sparkling with affection.
Aashvi's stomach rumbled in response, and she replied, "I'd love some Aloo Paratha, Maa, with a dollop of fresh yogurt on the side."
After finishing her morning routine, Aashvi made her way downstairs, greeted by the warm smiles of her family. Each elder wished her a good morning, their expressions filled with love and warmth. The aroma of freshly cooked Aloo Parathas filled the air as they gathered around the dining table for breakfast.
As they ate, Aashvi's father noticed the tiredness in her eyes. "Aashvi, beta, you seem a bit tired," he remarked, concern lacing his voice.
Aashvi shook her head, a small smile playing on her lips. "I'm fine, Papa. Just a bit sleepy, that's all," she reassured him, though the unease in her heart lingered.
Siddharth, observed her closely, "Maybe you should try to get more sleep tonight, Aashvi. You don't want to be tired for the competition," he suggested, his voice gentle yet firm.
Aashvi nodded, grateful for her brother's concern. "You're right, Bhaiya. I'll make sure to get to bed early tonight."
After bidding farewell to her family, Aashvi and her brother, Pranav, made their way to the bus stop with their father and uncle, in their car. The familiar routine of school greeted them as they boarded the bus, ready to face the day ahead.
Meanwhile, in another part of the city, the persistent beeping of his alarm clock awakened Ekansh. Groaning, he dragged himself out of bed and went through his morning routine with a sense of lethargy. Just as he was about to leave his room, his sister, Kavya, knocked on his door.
"Morning, Ekansh. Come quickly, breakfast is ready," she called through the door.
"Good morning, Di. I'll be there in a minute," Ekansh replied
