In the bustling Singhania household, the sun lazily streamed through the windows, casting warm rays upon the polished floors as the family prepared for the upcoming Sunday party. Aashvi, still enveloped in the cocoon of sleep, descended the stairs, her movements slow and drowsy. Rubbing her eyes and yawning, she found herself the center of attention as Pranav's mischievous eyes locked onto her.

"Look who's finally decided to grace us with her presence," Pranav quipped, drawing the gaze of everyone in the room towards Aashvi.

Feeling a mixture of annoyance and affection, Aashvi made her way over to her father, and embraced him tenderly, murmuring a sleepy "good morning." But her morning tranquility was quickly disrupted as Pranav's teasing antics earned a playful complaint from her.

"Papa, see? Pranav never stops teasing me," Aashvi lamented, shooting a half-hearted glare at her younger sibling.

Ajay, ever the peacemaker, intervened with a gentle reprimand. "Pranav, enough teasing. She's your elder sister, show some respect."

Pranav, unable to resist milking the moment for sympathy, turned to his mother, with a theatrical pout. "Maa, Papa always takes her side. He doesn't love me."

Vandana, amused by her son's antics, couldn't help but smile indulgently. "Pranav, you know that's not true. Now go on, be a good boy," she said, ruffling his hair affectionately.

Sensing her daughter's need for a reprieve, Vandana turned her attention to Aashvi, her warm gaze softening the edges of the morning. "Aashvi, sweetheart, go freshen up and grab some breakfast. Everyone else has already eaten."

Grateful for her mother's understanding, Aashvi returned the embrace, lingering for a moment longer in the comforting embrace of maternal love. "Okay, Maa," she replied softly, her voice carrying a hint of warmth and gratitude.

As Aashvi made her way back towards the stairs, a mischievous glint danced in her eyes. With a quick glance around to ensure nobody was watching, she couldn't resist one final act of sibling teasing. Sticking her tongue out at Pranav, she darted up the stairs, the sound of her laughter echoing through the halls.

The aroma of freshly baked treats filled the air as Aashvi roamed around her mother, who was engrossed in the preparations for the evening party. With each passing moment, Aashvi's anticipation for the event grew, her mind already envisioning the excitement and glamour that awaited her.

"Maa, please, I really want a new dress for the party tonight," Aashvi pleaded, her eyes pleading for understanding.

Vandana glanced up from her mixing bowl, a hint of amusement dancing in her eyes at her daughter's persistent requests

Vandana glanced up from her mixing bowl, a hint of amusement dancing in her eyes at her daughter's persistent requests. "Aashvi, dear, you already have plenty of dresses," she replied, her tone gentle but firm.

"But Maa," Aashvi persisted, a hint of frustration creeping into her voice, "they're all old dresses. I need something new for tonight."

Vandana sighed softly, setting aside her baking utensils to address her daughter's concerns. "Aashvi, sweetheart, you went shopping just two weeks ago. Surely you must have bought something then?"
