Only Friends Insert 10-Star Chasing

Question 1: What do you think of star chasing?

Ray: What does that even mean? Like actually looking at the stars? Oh, okay, chasing after stars, as in celebrities, and the like. Okay. What do I think about that? Hmm...it's a waste of time really. Like why would anyone use up resources to chase after people who gives people false hope and probably do not give a shit about you, I don't know. Star chasing is not for me. I rather be chasing the one man who wants me. 

Sand: I think in a positive way, chasing after someone who inspire you can really boost your motivations in life. Like I like Freddy Mercury songs so much I am willing to go to any concerts or events that play his songs, even he isn't here any more. I guess as long as you do it within your means, star chasing could be a fulfilling hobby, if you take it as so. Just don't turn this into a parasocial thing, it's too tiring. Trust me, I know. 

Mew: Star chasing is fun, I think. I like Ink Waruntorn so much I try to go to as much shows she is performing at but it can be an expensive hobby so I think it's important to do all these activities in moderation. I don't call myself a big fan but I guess fan enough to put in the effort to meet Ink as much time as I can. I am even in the fanclub too. Her songs get me through patches, for real. 

Top: I don't chase after any stars of any sort so I don't think I have any comments. I guess everyone is free to do whatever makes them happy. Go for it, if that's what your heart wants but of course, be prepared to take in all the consequences as well. There's no other way. It's life. 

Nick: Tell me about star chasing. I don't chase stars but the man I am chasing right, doesn't make it any different from me chasing any celebrities for real. Like it's such a parasocial thing. He isn't awarre that I have feelings for him half the time or he does but he just do anything but acknowledge it. And I can give in and do so much stuff from him and in return all I get is a superficial you are cute, you are the best, you are the sweetest and you are the one, just like how a celebrity behaves with a fan. In the end, everything is just a dream. The difference is, chasing my man, hurts much more than a chasing a celebrity. Gosh, I am rambling again. Ignore me. 

Boston: Look, I don't know if this is an analogy or what, I am Boston, the Boston so I don't need to chase anyone....wait, scrap that. I don't chase anyone I don't want to chase. So yeah most stars, totally, not my taste anyway. I go for authentic men. Anyway, back to the star chasing analogy, I don't chase people, more often than not, people chase me, so I am the star for goodness sake. 

Question 2: Fanmeets, yes or nay?

Ray: Nay. It's boring going to an event to meet people and expect them to be nice to you. Heck yeah they will be nice to you, you paid for god's sake. At some level, everything will feel super fake, trust me. Better do boyfriend meet. Better use of time, for real. 

Sand: Why not? I think it will be fun to meet someone you are longing to meet. I think if given the chance to meet all my favourite artists I will definitely take it. I wonder what I will say or behave in front of all of them. 

Mew: Yes! Fanmeets are so much fun! That's where you meet new friends from all walks of life and there's where you exchange information about your favourite artists. Plus, there are kind fans out there who will go the extra mile to give you freebies. So yeah, I am all for going to fanmeets if I have the time and resources to. 

Top: No thank you. I don't get the concept of fanmeets but of course if Mew wants to go, I will tag along I guess. It will be interesting to see what kind of people gets Mew's attention and devotion. 

Nick: I have been to a few. It was fun while it lasted. Sounds a lot like one night stands, where the fun are pretty fleeting if you think about it but some people enjoy these sort of events so why not? Whatever floats their boat. I think as long as we know how to judge our boundaries and expectations, it should be a fun experience. 

Boston: Don't know what fanmeets are, don't care what fanmeets do either. I am busy hooking up with hot people as is already.
