I look around and feel a really bad headache. "Where am I?..." I look down and see my hands full of blood. " How?! "I roll my eyes and try to get the blood out of my hands, rubbing them on my clothes.

" Ahhnggg.. " I moan softly as I slowly open my eyes, the sunlight reflecting through the window makes my desire not to get out of bed continue.
" (Y/n), wake up or you'll miss your test day. " I hear my mother's voice from the living room, making me groan in frustration and hug my pillow tightly
"Just 1 more hour.. " I say softly against the pillow, it was perfect, the position, it wasn't too hot, if it weren't for the sound of the birds in the background, then it would be perfect--
"I told you to get up." My mother says pulling the blanket over my body
"Hey! I don't want to go.. " I say hugging my body and closing my eyes again
"Come on, (Y/n), your dad will be there." My mom says softly as she sits down next to me, running her fingers over my face gently.
"He never cared, whether I was there or not, he didn't care." I say softly against the pillow
Nyra just sighed and made little patterns on my back. "But it would be important for me to see you there." She says softly as she watched me, seeing that I didn't turn around to respond to her comment, she just sighed and stood up.
"If you want to go, I'll be there," she said softly as she walked away, closing the bedroom door behind her.
I sigh and slowly open my eyes, now looking at the ceiling of the room. " Damn it. "
Time Skip
"I will!" I say smiling as I head towards the door, ready to leave- "I won't." I say turning around and walking away.
"What to do, go take the tests that everyone in my tribe takes to deduce who is the best child in the tribe, or face mom's anger." I say in frustration while crossing my arms
" Mom, test.. mom or test.. I'd rather face these tests. " I say sighing as I head towards the door again, I was about to grab the handle--
" No, I'm not going. "
Time Skip
After many internal struggles, I was finally out of the house. The town was full, everyone living their lives or getting ready to go to auditions for the tribe's children.
I sigh as I continue my way towards the stadium, not far away, I see my mother
" Mom! " I say smiling as I go to her, she looked at me over her shoulder and raised an eyebrow
" (Y/n), why aren't you wearing your uniform, you look like a wild cat in that outfit. " She says as she squats down and tries to fix my hair, I growl softly and push her hand away
"I don't like the uniform, it's ugly and very feminine." I say smiling nervously, she sighed and stood up
"Alright, wait here, I'm talking to Mrs. Miller." She says smiling while pointing at the female (m/s) in front of me, of which she made an expression full of disgust.
