So, the month of romance has ended, and my parents are back at work like it's the true loves of their lives. Do you have workaholic parents? Also, I have been texting and calling my older brothers every single day, even if we don't really have anything to share.

Lunabella P.O.V.

Angus chirps and wakes me up as my bleary eyes blink open and I scramble out of bed stumbling for the door as a yawn overtakes me and my knees buckle only for me to be held up by my shadows which act like a kind of brace and help me walk out of my room.

I've had hours to prepare more reasons why I think I should be allowed to go with them. Even if it means I'm not actually doing anything front and center like they are at least I'm there and I can help.

I know Angus isn't going to help me because it told me so. Unless one of them actually asks for help it isn't going to tell me if they're in danger, which sucks because it's supposed to be on my side.

Angus somehow winds up on my head as I wait in the kitchen for Aki and Ari, not wanting to rush into their domain like I'm desperate. I can wait.

'I think I've been watching too much nature planet.'

Aki walks in and flicks on the lights only to find me sitting there, on the island, waiting for her and she stares at me. "Bells, don't sit on the counter unless you're eating, and I thought I told you that Angus isn't allowed in the kitchen unless the both of us are in it." She sighs walking over to the fridge as Ari slides in after her doing a little dance to something going on inside her head.

I can't say I particularly understand it, but I don't mind and instead slide onto a stool while focusing on Aki as she sighs and looks back at me "You know what I want." I say as she leans heavily against a counter.

"Yes, can we save this for the morning when we're both better rested?" She asks scrubbing a hand down her face.

"So that you can ignore me in favor of your computer screens only giving me halfhearted answers, no thank you." I respond crossing my arms and my legs for good measure as Ari 'ooo's

Aki rolls her eyes and snaps at Ari that if she isn't going to eat, she can get ready for bed. Ari raises her hands and takes a step back before grabbing some chips and grabbing some things to make herself a drink like she's sitting back for a show and I guess, for her at least, it kind of will be.

Aki and I begin arguing our points as Ari munches on her food, loudly interjecting every time we start getting heated and begin talking over each other. She's actually quite good at being the mediator; I always figured that would be Aki with how she acts... or acted, but I guess she is a bit preoccupied at the moment.

We don't end up finishing our argument because I start yawning and get sent back to bed while Aki and Ari finish getting ready. I stare up at my ceiling as Angus continues nudging me, over and over, trying to get a response.

Sometimes I wish we weren't connected that way it wouldn't know if I was awake or asleep and would just leave me alone, then again leaving my eyes open probably isn't helping my case either.

"What do you want, Aggie?" I groan laying my arm over my eyes miserably as they refuse to shut fully my eyelashes scraping against my skin every time I blink. It purrs in annoyance before sitting on my ankles making me look down. "Yeah, you were right. Is that what you want to hear?" I ask and it chirps, in an annoyingly pleased sounding way.

I roll over, forcing it off of me as I face plant into one of my pillows and cradle both Oreo and Custard to my chest. They're clearly the only ones who have my back around here. I feel the covers pull up around me before Angus settles into the crook of my neck and I yawn widely my eyes screwing shut as I fall asleep to the sound of Angus' barely- there trills pressed right against my ear.
