-Tim POV-

Tim knew he was never going to live the kidnapping down. He had almost wished that Bruce shut down the idea, but the man was weirdly on board for it. Apparently their father wanted to see how the team reacted.

Nico had 'gotten a call from Hazel' that morning and had 'someone from camp' pick him up. When the clock struck 3 pm, Jason looked so excited.

Dick's phone buzzed and he brought it to his ear. "Oh hey Neeks, how's Hazel doing?"

Tim sighed in apprehension as his oldest brother had a one sided conversation, knowing it was any second.

The big window in the library shattered behind him and immediately everyone was on their feet.

"Well look what we have here," Ghost King said with a chuckle from his place in the window frame. "Justice League Jr is here."

The brothers all huddled together as if they were worried, Dick announcing that he had to go as he hung up on 'Nico'.

"Who the fuck is that?" Jason yelled, barely masking his excitement with mock horror.

Karen stepped forward, moving to block the Waynes. "That's what I'm wondering."

"That's Ghost King. Batman temporarily had him on the team while you and Cassie were on a mission," Jamie said, stepping in front of Bumblebee. "GK, what are you doing?"

Nico hopped out of the window and onto the top of a row of bookshelves. "I was in the area and thought it might be fun to snag a Wayne; see how much money Mr. Warbucks- I mean Wayne, will pay to get em back."

Jamie narrowed his eyes at the vigilante and his armor began covering his body.

"Sorry chum but that isn't gonna happen." La'gaan's tattoos glowed and he began expanding.

Garf backed up slightly, making sure the Wayne's were covered. "What the hell dude?! I thought you were a hero."

Nico let out a cold laugh. "I quite literally told you I wasn't." He jumped off the shelves and pulled out his two knives. "Now, I doubt you are gonna just let me take one of them off your hands, so let's just get this over with."

"Cassie, get the Waynes out of here," Karen yelled, but they had planned for that.

Nico pulled his sword out of the shadows and threw it at the door, the blade wedging itself through the handle and into the frame. Cassie immediately backed away from the door, pulling the brothers with here. "Exit is no longer viable. The material the sword is made of is can be deadly to anyone but him."

Karen shrunk and flew out of the sleeve of her shirt before growing back to normal size, now in uniform. "Then make sure Ghostie over here doesn't lay a finger on them."

Nico laughed, spinning one of his knives. "challenge accepted."

The second he heard that Cassie's only job was to make sure he couldn't get his brothers, the game was on. Bruce had told him that he was to try his best to take Tim (with minimal damage to the team), but if the team put up a good fight, he could let them win. That was no longer an option. He may have forgiven Cassie, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to crush her.

Karen was the first one to make a move against Nico, but he had studied their files and knew how to fuck with each of them. She shrunk down and began flying at Nico right as his first smoke bomb went off. He knew she would return to normal size in an environment she couldn't see in and as soon as she did, he knocked her out, quickly securing her hands with the zip-ties.
