70) Family Traditions

A/N: Long chapter alert

It had been two weeks since Nico had been to the mountain and he was a little bit excited about being able to go back. He had fought Bruce a total of 6 times about getting to go back to the mountain, something he never thought he would do, but he had finally won. Bruce said that he could go after dinner on Saturday evening, that way most members would be gone.

He was supposed to go with Tim to the cave, but had been delayed by a called from Percy so he just shadow traveled to Tim's shadow once he had finished and to say he was surprised by what he found would be an understatement.

"Oh shit!" Tim yelled as he immediately shoved himself away from Superboy the second Nico had appeared, but it was too late.

Nico immediately grew a shit eating grin. "Hey Tim. What's up?"

Tim and Kon stood, faces a deep shade of red, frozen in the middle of Tim's room at the mountain. "Nothing."

"Oh really?" Nico said, smiling wider than he had in a long time. "Cause I feel like something is definitely happening right now."

Kon cleared his throat. "We were just talking."

Nico nodded. "Hm. Seemed like you were doing something different. It really looked like your lips were doing something else."

Tim's face got even redder. "Nope. Just talking."

The demigod raised an eyebrow. "Why are you two in his room then? You two talk all the time in the common rooms, yet this seems pretty private."

Kon rubbed his neck. "We were talking about something secret?"

Nico sat in the chair by the desk. "I love secrets. Do share with the rest of the group."

Tim sighed, realizing that he was not going to get out of the conversation without a confession. "We were kissing. Happy?"

Nico let out a laugh. "Exceedingly so. Now, Connor do you mind if Timmy and I have the room for a moment?"

Tim looked to Kon, probably to tell him not to leave, but the clone was already out the door. As the former Robin looked back at Nico, his face was beet red. "You cannot tell the others."

Nico rolled his eyes. "Obviously, but I do expect to hear the whole story of how long that has been going on."

Tim crossed his arms as he sat back on his bed. "He asked me out last week. We got coffee, but I had to leave early because of the whole Riddler situation, so he pulled me in here today to ask if I actually wanted to continue going out, so I kissed him."

The younger boy laughed as he leaned back in the seat. "Okay, before we get into this, is there anything planned for today?"

Tim looked confused, but shook his head. "It's Saturday evening so we usually just train with Dick at 8, but he's helping B with something right now, so it's a night off. Unless something happens that they need us to do, we have nothing scheduled."

Nico nodded. "Then I'll be back in an hour," he said before slipping into the shadows.

Tim stared at where Nico sat a moment before in silence. "What the fuck?!"

A knock on the door sounded to break him out of his trance and he called for the person to come in before looking to see who it was.

Kon poked his head in, scanning the room before stepping in completely. "Where'd GK go?"
