My problem with the original fans-art of Mermaidix fan transformation is the transformation looks like it would only fit on a paper doll and the tail looks too cloth like instead of a real tail.
For The Normal Years fan-fiction, that will be connected to Fairy of Solaria, Princess Stella Fairy of the Sun & Moon of Solaria, Team Spirit, Beyond the Magix Realm and Prince At Heart all of those I still have work to do on regarding my fanfiction coauthor series from kittycatlover23 I haven't forgotten about it. And still need to work on Value of Friendship and Winx Adventure both of which will be next generation stories also connected to this first series. I mention when Bloom and Musa get stranded on an Open Ocean Magix island Bloom finds the scale from a Rainbow Mermaid's tail part of her body scattered all over the island. In Kittycatlover23's character books there are different levels of Dragonflame two powers are stronger than Bloom's with the Rainbow Valley realm and the lone island of Diamond fairies where Diaspro's powers originate from. Diaspro will have a decent more convincing backstory in this series and she'll also be less of a nuisance too.

Both of these tails represent Zenith mermaids or Rainbow Valley Mermaids the tail fluke will change colors and partners to give proper individual finger prints to the individual mermaids and because it is easier to alter than the other tail scales.
