All about fantasy worlds and characters. Winx Club, Barbie, Disney, DC Superhero Girls, Star Wars characters, Horseland characters and Disney Descendants Characters.
Informative book about my fanfiction characters.
Besides making the huge mistake of favoritism toward their ocs over the original characters of the shows, is making characters from a show say things they never said on screen. This is an example of blatant assumption.
Viewers who write about the Winx naturally assume Bloom was labeled leader by other characters but in fact it is never ever dealt within the show and if it's not spoken in the currently aired show it doesn't make it true.
In fact in the early two seasons there are multiple mission where Tecna and Aisha take point first as leaders instead of Bloom. Tecna is a stronger lead presence in Season 1 her notable leading in the episode Mission To Cloudtower and Mission to Domino and she has several more within the first Season. 4 kids kind of tries to confuse you by making Tecna become accusatory when they look for Stella when Tecna does not do that in the original dub. Nobody amongst the Winx in the dub actually signals out a leader, the writers show us who the real leaders are by their leading by example and Bloom comes in third behind Tecna and Aisha. The reason I put Aisha above in command though is a natural reason. She doesn't intimidate most of the other girls extra perhaps Stella from time to time. Her etiquette teaching allows her to play around in improvisation techniques and playing acting. Her soft appearance allows most of her opponents to underestimate her capabilities therefore she is the least likely to get tricked beside Tecna. And Aisha is fiercely resilient and doesn't tire as easily from a fight as the strength that makes water flow a waterfall races through her own blood. A strength that Tecna and Bloom do not have. Aisha is also a very able and persuasive diplomatic negotiator when those skills are called upon as shown to the police in Gardenia Italy in 4 kids in Season 2, Skylights."
The Winx Club team do not ever say who is the leader of the group of the Winx Club. Even the reporter in the most disorganized movie of their show Magical adventure doesn't call Bloom the leader of the Winx Club. It is more realistic to say she is face of the group and after her that would be Stella selling the face of the group. But throughout the original dub not one of the members nor the boyfriends of the girls address Bloom as top leader.
The line I hate from Tecna from the 4 kids dub is what made every fan instantly believe Bloom was THE leader of the Winx when in the original no mention ever occurs. One of the first lines we get from a Tecna and Bloom interaction their third time in Magix city. I hate this one line of Tecna's from 4 kids and I'm quoting it here, "'Who made you the boss/the leader?" I hate it for two reasons one it makes Tecna come off ridiculously mean which she never gets to that point at all in the original dub. And when she usually realizes when she's being mean quickly. First of all in the original dub when Tecna looks at Bloom's Earth phone and rudely laughs in front of Bloom she immediately apologizes. Back in Season 4 when the girls are working at the toy store Tecna's totally aware that some of her expressions might come off offensive to Bloom and she lightens them up by talking about them with a spin of dark humor.
"You know Bloom, I normally enjoy your unique optimism, but dream job was stretching it, this is way more of a nightmare than fighting the Ancestral Witches in Obsidian."
So what's the other reason the 4 kids line from Tecna is so stupid? It does not help Tecna gain more interest by fans. People will turn away from mean girls/mean boys. They won't be their favorites.
Now let's take a look at yet another show The Unicorn Academy show from Netflix and Youtube.
Fans might assume the leader is Sophia but actually no one ever says that in the show. And Isabel takes up the role of trying to lead the group to apologize and forgive each other for all arguments. Sophia is really just the face of the group. After her comes Isabel and Valentina being the other faces of the Unicorn Academy team group.
Why is Isabel more likely to be a leader? Well when she is riding with the others and Ava and Sophia start to argue and mess each other up she says this line. "That's it! You two are benched! The rest of us will handle this!" That is the signal and sign of a leader talking and taking the role of lead by example, Skylights. Isabel takes authoritative responsibility over the wacky behavior amongst her teammates something that's actually rare in someone who likes to be as competitive as she is. But the other thing that makes her the best realistic leader for that group is that she doesn't accuse others and does take accountability for her own mistakes. It is always a blessing to have a humbled leader who understands the hardest thing humility can teach.
And now there is a show where both ideas are true The Superpops Cosmic Pop calls Majesty their leader but Flash Pop corrects this later to the K-Pops says. "Oh, wow, well actually, the Superpops don't really have a leader we function as one unit team. Majesty is a leader because she brought the entire famous Superpops together as a group. But other than that we don't really have any official leader in that group of mine."
Now what does "Blatant Assumption" Mean You Ask?
Blatant means-very noticeable for being incorrect/obviously bad. Assumption-stating something or declaring or decreeing something you assume to be true.

Far outside of this world means our real modern world, Skylights. —Lumna10.
Star Wars does 4th breaks as subtly as this in The Mandolorian piece of the Book of Boba Fett.
Star Wars writers have developed a habit of teasing their viewers negative comments by making it a humorous part of their shows so when you watch Star Wars because if you say something negative in a more public place, Skylights, don't be surprised if it ends upon on the real tv screen eventually.
