Y/N POV
"This'll do" Mahito said as he grabbed a bunch of humans and threw them at Y/N who was running up the stairs and sent Y/N flying backwards
Y/N held onto one of the humans until their face transfigured and blood blew all up in Y/N's face and getting in his eyes as Mahito came running towards him with a spike on his arm
"SHIT" Y/N thought to himself
Maki POV
Mahito jumped off from the roof and came flying down and smashed the ground beneath Maki as she jumped back and began running as Mahito expanded his arms causing damage to the area surrounding them
Maki dashed from the roof and cut Mahitos chest a little with her sword. As she got her footing she turned and again tried to slash Mahito as he grabbed a sewer cover and used it to block the slash
"NICE!!!" Mahito shouted in a twisted voice
Maki quickly jumped back up onto the roof and began running as Mahito again used his arms to destroy the area around them. Eventually Maki got some space as Mahito came running at her and tried extending his hands to hit Maki but Maki quickly reacted and sliced the hand coming at her, off
"She's going for my hands. Those damn sorcerers from back in the day must've warned her about me and she hasn't forgotten." Mahito thought to himself "AW WELL YOU'RE NO FUN!"
Mahito jumped up and grabbed a bunch of signs and debris and threw them at Maki as she quickly slashed all of them into pieces with her sword until she felt Mahito run up behind her, she quickly jumped out of the way but Mahito extended his arm into a huge spike ball as one of the spikes stabbed her shoulder
Maki sliced the spike off as Mahito jumped towards her, changing his hand into a claw and catching Maki off guard and slicing her arm
"I already told you...that won't work on me. Or did you forget already?" Mahito asked
"I've dulled out my days, long past my prime but it doesn't mean a Special Grade is a warm up." Maki said as she jumped onto the roof and began running across it
Maki sliced the air in Mahitos direction as he stood there unphased as she jumped down
"She's jumping down? What does this girl hope to achieve?" Mahito thought to himself
"Here's another." Maki said as she lifted her sword in the air and suddenly a bunch of wires tightened around Mahito and held him in place
"She used string from the sword slashes?" Mahito said to himself as he fell back with Maki jumping on top of him
"I've been thinking about it. Ever since I learned of your technique, I bet this sword will work nicely on you." Maki said as she lifted her sword in the air and stabbed Mahitos chest "VANISHING SOUL TAKER!"
Y/N POV
Y/N turned to see Mahito had a large blade coming out of his chest as he spit blood and stopped in his tracks
"Maki?" Y/N said to himself
Flashback
"The soul splitter is a special sword. It's one that can attack the soul and if stabbed through a vital part of the soul, will affect all parts of the soul. All I have to do is chant Vanishing Soul Taker and the sword will have activated it's very own Cursed Technique. One that affects every part of the soul and I mean every part." Maki said as she began to sharpen her blade
