With distance and with time,
the flutters in her heart decreased into nothing.
With distance and with time,
the butterflies in her stomach stopped going crazy with somersaults.
With distance and with time...
Oh so she thought!
It was like someone had lit a spark when...
her eyes found his.
It was like her ears had heard music when...
his voice reached her ears.
It was like she had walked into a perfume shop when...
her nose smelt his familiar scent.
That was all that was needed for,
her heart to go from slight flutters to a spitting red fire.
That was all that was needed for,
the butterflies in her stomach to turn into a swirling tornado.
That was all that was needed for,
her to realise that it was more than just a crush...she was falling in love.
And that's when the tsunami came crashing down.
