Companions of the moon,
are the stars in the night.
Yet shunned by the sun,
are the stars in the light.
Scattered around a blanket of darkness,
are the stars in the night.
Yet not a single one could be seen at day,
are the stars in the light.
Dots of flickering lights as though it were to be communicating with the land below,
are the stars in the night.
Yet loses even this form of connection when the sun rises, blinding those below,
are the stars in the light.
And that's why people say...
You find your true friends and see people's true colours at the lowest of your times.
You won't see them in the light,
You'll see them in the night...
So clearly.
