Aria's pov
"Lazy ass wake up, dad is calling you in his office" I groan pulling the pillow on my head, god my head hurts so bad.
Should not have enjoyed that much last night. "Wake up, did you went to a party last night?" I look up to see it's Maxim my oldest brother.
Gosh I am not in the mood for another lecture, he is more protective than my dad and my other brother.
Well Levi is not so bad he is 2 years older than me so he is not this protective. "Yes max now get out and let me sleep" I say throwing the closest thing my hand could grab which I think is my stuffed animal? idk
"You tricked dad again with your puppy eyes and pout? God poor dad he is so oblivious to your activities" He says while he pulls the blanket off me
"What activities?" I ask and I finally sit up, "Oh dancing with men at the club? kissing them?" He says "wtf? how do you know this?" I say shit I am caught if dad got to know this he will not allow me to go out
"I work in the mafia, my baby sister. Now come on dad is calling you and take these pills" He says and leave my room
I get up wash my face and then go to dad's office to see why is he calling me. I open the door and see everyone is there including my uncle which is Isha's father, Isha is there too and her mom.
"Heyy uncle seb and aunt Gia" I hug them both I hug Isha too and she also looks as hungover as I do- oh well
"What is this family meeting for?" I ask and sit down next to Levi, "We don't know your dad has gathered us here" Uncle seb says
"What happened dad is everything okay?" Maxim asks.
"Um everything is okay but I have a huge announcement to make which you all might not like but it's my final decision" Dad says in a heavy voice, I am scared what is he gonna say?
"I have arranged Aria's marriage with Nikolai, russian mafia youngest leader" I stiffen wtf? I hear Uncle seb yelling something, Levi and Maxim have stand up saying something to dad but I can't hear it over the shock.
My ears are ringing, wtf? I am gonna get married and that too arranged. I mean I knew I was going to get married in mafia but I thought I would have some choice atleast the choice of when to marry.
"Dad? what?" I ask him I am too shocked, I look up and see mom is holding back tears and dad almost looks in pain
"I am sorry princess but this is what I have to do in order for our mafia" He says he can't make eye contact with me
"DAD SHE IS NOT GETTING MARRIED SHE IS JUST 20" Maxim says raising his voice. "Dad please? I promise I will not go to any parties I promise I will be good don't do this" I plead him
"We are sorry sweetheart" Mom says crying, "Have you gone mad Angelo? why are you doing this?" Uncle seb says to dad
"It's for the best and I have met Nikolai, he is one of the best man for her" Dad says, I mean I know dad must be doing this because it must be necessary.
He loves me but this all feels so shocking and I am hurt ofc I mean who wants to be in an arrage marriage?.
Isha comes by my side and hugs me, she is also in tears. "Uncle please don't do this to her" Isha says. "I am sorry but this is final" Dad says and sits down on his chair.
"This absolute bullshit you have lost your mind dad" Levi says as he leaves the room, I also do after looking at my dad.
He doesn't look happy with his decision, I know he is not happy but welll I can't pity him right now he is in the wrong.
I run to my room crying, Isha and my brothers follow me. I plop down on my bed hiding my face in the pillow and cry my heart out.
"Don't cry Aria, I will talk to dad" Maxim says, they all try to console me and try to believe me and themselves that this won't happen.
But we all know it will-
After what it seem a hour of crying I finally look up, "D-do you know this Nikolai guy?" I ask, more tears fall from my eyes.
They all have not left my side since, "Yes Nikolai and I are friends well more like acquaintances you can say" Levi says
"How old is he tell me about him" I say desperate for some info on my future husband, I mean I know he has to be a good man for my dad to choose.
"You don't have to know him you are not getting married" Maxim says as he strokes my hair, Isha has also stopped crying.
"He is 23, he is very powerful his dad died young so he took the bravta from his uncle at the age of 21. What I know of him is, he is ruthless but when it comes to his close ones he is gentle with them. He is a handsome man, idk anything else" Levi says and I can see the tears forming in his eyes.
This just makes me want to cry more, "thanks" I say and continue crying.
"I hate dad so much right now, I mean why would he do that to me? I get the reasons but wtf? He doesn't care abt me at all" I say angrily
"No Aria, angelo loves you. You are his little princess and will always be" I see mom standing at my room's door
"No I m not, mom how could you let this happen? This is so unfair you have to help me please" I say sitting up I m ready to beg her for this but I don't want to get married.
Everyone else leave the room, mom and I have always been close she is the best mother I could ever ask for.
" Sweetheart I m sorry I can't help you in this, Nikolai is a good man. I know this isn't a ideal situation but please know this was a very hard decision for your dad hell even I was against for weeks but baby this is for the best. Dealing with Russians will do great for our mafia and Nikolai is who I believe one of the best husbands you can get" she says as she hugs me
"Mom I am really scared I don't want to do this" I say pulling her closer. Her words necessarily didn't put me in comfort but were helpful for me to come in peace with the truth .

Umm so the chapters are kind off long right now since these are filler chapters and maybe kind of boring.
It took me so long on how to approach the marriage topic, this is not the best but hope y'all like it.
