"BUT I DON'T want to be on." Jay stated, folding his arms across his chest as everyone gathered back in the living room.

The group had been playing for a good few hours and to say it was a good way to pass time would be an understatement. The home had been filled with laughter and screams of excitement and fright when getting caught, and now, as the sun officially set and had been replaced by the glowing moon, the group were moving into the next round of (what seemed to be) a never ending game.

"Everyone but you has been on." Isabel pointed out, annoyed at her brother for acting like a child. "Just suck it up, Jongseong and get to counting."

Jay instantly rolled his eyes at his sister. "Shut your mouth." He scoffed and turned around to face away from everybody, as he then began to loudly call out the numbers leading up to one hundred.

Without another thought, the group disbanded into every direction of the large home. At first, during the first few rounds, Isabel couldn't help but struggle with finding somewhere good to hide. She didn't know her way around the house well enough, and so hiding behind curtains was the best she could do. However, as time went on and places around the house caught her eye, it was safe to say she'd won one or two games of hide and seek.

She could hear Jay in the eighties and felt her eyes widen and her heart begin to smack against her chest, anxiously. All of her saved spots had been taken and so she was left with the closest in one of the spare bedrooms.

Huffing in frustration, there were ten seconds left until her brother would search for them and quickly, without another thought, she slid the door open and stepped inside, grateful that the closet was empty.

She stood in silence, patiently waiting for Jay to begin his hunting, and she leaned back slightly, resting her back on the wall as she caught her breath. Running around a house and laughing at the same time causing her to be at a loss of air.

Suddenly, the closet door was slid open in a hurry and for a moment, Issy felt her shoulders slump with defeat at the belief of being caught and so she stood up straight — however when she watched the figure shut the door behind them, her brows furrowed with confusion.

Had she not been found yet?

The wardrobe was awkwardly silent, the only sound that could be heard was Isabel's heavy breathing (which she was embarrassed about.) Who had joined her in the confined space?

"And I thought I was the smoker." They scoffed out a quiet chuckle, and instantly, Issy's eyes widened as the familiar voice travelled to her ears.

It was Jake...

"Jake, what the hell, I was here first, get out," The short girl swiftly broke out into a rant, her voice slightly raised which was bound to grasp Jay's attention as he roamed the corridors. And so, the Sim boy did the first thing that came to mind, shut her up.

Stepping closer to the girl who was still talking at a fast and uncontrollable pace, Jake quickly placed his hand over her mouth, covering it and stopping any noise coming from her as they hid.

The action effortlessly made Isabel's eyes widen in shock and she stumbled backwards slightly, leaning her back against the wall once again. She didn't know how to feel about the situation she was currently in. It was pitch black, so she couldn't see him due to the hiders not being allowed a torch, so they were only left to their memory.

She could feel the boys minty breath hitting her skin due to their close proximity, and the longer they stayed stood in front of one another with his hand still over her mouth, the more relaxed she became — and she didn't know why.

She was supposed to be annoyed at him — annoyed at him because he rudely stopped her from speaking, and took her hiding spot. She was supposed to no longer like him. She no longer had feelings for him... she liked Jungwon, right?

The Park girl could feel her eyes soften and the once feeling of her body being tense vanished.

Despite not being able to see him, she knew he towered over her and knowing that she had to look up at him, she couldn't help but feel nervous and submissive.

Eventually, Jake slowly removed his hand from her face and placed it on the wall behind her, beside her head. "Are you finished?" He asked, his tone as quiet as ever, and all Issy did was nod her head (forgetting the fact he couldn't see her.)

It was now, when the only thing that could be heard was their breathing and the screams from their friends being caught, that everything the girl wanted to ask him came back to her. She wanted to know what he was going to tell her the other night, before her mother interrupted them. She wanted to know what was wrong with him and why he'd been acting the way he had.

"Jake..." She softly called out, earning a 'hm?' As a response from the said boy. Licking her lips and opening her mouth to question him, she was abruptly stopped by the lights switching back on — and it was then, that Isabel Park and Jake Sim became aware of just how close they were stood.

The light from the bedroom the closest was in was piercing through the small gaps in the wardrobes wooden doors, allowing them to see one another. Their bodies were centimeters from touching, and all it took was one small nudge for their lips to touch due to the older boy leaning down.

Their position took them by surprise, and Issy couldn't help but nervously gulp as her cheeks burned red.

"I-" The girl went to start, though it seemed as if Isabel would never get a chance to ask her questions because just when she built up the courage to do so, the closet door quickly slid open, immediately making Issy push Jake away from her, afraid that whoever opened the door would get the wrong end of the stick... or would it really just be the right end?

"Powers back on," Jungwon awkwardly stated, his lips tightly shut as he glanced between the two. "Um, Jay said your parents want you home." He informed.

Nodding her head at the Yang boy, Issy sent him a small, guilt filled smile his way before she walked past him and hurried downstairs, wanting nothing more than to get out of the situation.

She felt awful.
