I was the sweetest child ever. Being the son of a famous businessman did not make me any greedy, even if I was able to buy everything I wanted. I loved going to school and hanging out with my only best friend, Junkyu. Junkyu was the only person who knew my true identity as a son of a CEO, since I did not like the attention people were giving me because of that title. So when I entered high school, eventually no one knew where I came from. I was shy, but I loved school, because it is the only place where I can see the girl I like. Lee Yerim.

We were classmates since the first grade of high school. I would be lying if I say that she did not catch my attention from the very first day. She was beautiful, her face was flawless, her hair looked so soft and those rosy cheeks were so squishable. My looks were average, I had that nerdy face and was wearing braces, my face was so chubby and my body was not that slim. I was on the quiet side of the class, but she, on the contrary, was popular, outgoing, she had many friends and a bunch of boys chasing after her.

I thought I did not even stand a chance with her, but one day we were assigned together as project partners. We went to the cafe near our school and were discussing the project while drinking the sweetest cappuccino I've ever tasted. Maybe it was so sweet because she was beside me? Joking. I was the type of person who gets comfortable with people as time passes, and when we were parting ways she said the words that gave me so much hope.

"I did not think that you were this funny! Would you like to hangout more?"

My heartbeat went crazy. That day was engraved in my mind as the day, when I actually believed that THE Lee Yerim noticed me, and the day, when I felt loosened up next to a person for the first time in a while. I felt comfortable around her and wanted us to become closer.
