Jinhee's pov
The week is finally over. I thought that I would spend the weekend either studying in the library or in the music room, but Minji decided that we should just chill in the first weeks of the semester, since we would not have free time during the exams, so I agreed.
She said that the seniors were throwing a party for the freshmen at some bar. To be honest, I'm not the kind of person who goes to parties, especially clubs and bars, but Minji said she would drown my books in the toilet if I didn't go with her, leaving me with no choice. She also said that she would pick out an outfit for me, do my makeup and hairstyle. She is a designer, after all. But the dress she chose was a bit... too much for me. A black off-shoulder mid-thigh dress, black heels and some silver earrings with a necklace. Not gonna lie, I looked gorgeous, if only it wasn't for my insecurities..
"Oh my God, Jinhee, you're literally glowing!" Minji complemented me.
I'm glad we became friends, because even if she is literally a goddess herself, she always compliments me and helps boost my self-confidence.
"Thank you, Minji. Shall we get going?"

We came to the party and already saw some students getting drunk, dancing, some flirting with each other in corners. Student life, I suppose?
Minji dragged me somewhere and handed me a drink,
"Listen, I have a friend here from high school. Well, actually, not a friend, we just went to the same school. I saw him sitting with his friend at that table over there," She pointed to a table not far from us.
"We haven't seen each other since graduation. How about we go up to him and say hello? I could introduce you to him, I just know he's very kind."
I thought about refusing and letting Minji greet him while I waited for her at the bar counter, but then I remembered what I had promised myself from the very beginning of my university life.
«Do not be afraid of new acquaintances, they won't eat you.»
«Be a little bolder and stop thinking only about studying.»
«Talking to a boy won't hurt.»
«It's okay to step out of your comfort zone.»With these reminders, we moved on. We approached that guy, but it seems his friend got up to bring them drinks.
3rd person's pov
"Hello!" Minji started.
"Oh, h-hi?" the guy stuttered.
"Maybe you might remember me? We attended the same high school."
"Oh my god, I'm sorry. I was just startled. If I'm not mistaken, you are Minji, right? How have you been?"
"Wow, I didn't know you remembered my name. Yes, my name is Minji and thanks, I've been good." Minji replied with a smile, "This is my friend and roommate, Jinhee."
The guy held out his hand for a handshake,
"Hello, my name is Junkyu. Nice to meet you", he said and smiled.
Jinhee hesitantly grabbed his hand and introduced herself,
"Choi Jinhee. Nice to meet you too."
"Actually, I'm here with my friend, he just went to get us a drink," he said cheerfully, "Oh, he's coming," he pointed behind her, and her eyes widened when she saw his friend,
"YOU?"
"YOU?" They both shouted in unison.
"Wait, do you know each other?" Junkyu asked.
"We don't, she is just that clumsy girl I talked about a few days ago", Jihoon spoke.
"Clumsy girl? YOU bumped into me and made me spill my coffee", Jinhee fired back.
"Let's just leave it here, okay?" Minji protested "Hello, my name is Yoon Minji and this is my friend, Choi Jinhee."
"Park Jihoon." He shook their hands and glared at Jinhee.
"Well, now that we're all familiar with each other, do you mind if we stay here for a while? We just don't know anyone from our batch yet", Minji asked, looking at Junkyu.
"Of course! In fact, we don't know the others either. So it's nice to make new friends", Junkyu smiled.
"Is it really necessary? This girl might stumble again or spill her drink on us", Jihoon spoke, pointing at Jinhee.
"Excuse me?" Jinhee replied back.
"You are excused."
"Jihoon, don't be such a brat", Junkyu began, "Be nice, okay?"
"Whatever", Jihoon just rolled his eyes.
Jinhee's pov
We were sitting together with Junkyu and this jerk named Jihoon. Junkyu is really nice, but I can't say the same about his friend. Junkyu tried to engage everyone in conversation and talked a lot, while Jihoon just sat there with blank, arrogant face. How did they even become friends?
"Oh, Junkyu, Jinhee is also studying architecture," Minji told them."Really? I think then I won't be so lonely at lectures. I'm glad to know that," Junkyu smiled, "Jihoon studies business administration, so most of our classes are different from each other. But we are also roommates."
After minutes of talking, we found out that they live on the same floor as us, in the dormitory. It's actually a bad thing, because I'll probably meet this jerk more often. By the way, he left us 5 minutes ago, saying he would be back. I'm glad he's gone because he's actually really intimidating and looks like he could make a hole in someone with his gaze. But it was getting hot in here and the crowd of people was suffocating, so I left Minji and Junkyu together and went outside to get some fresh air. I didn't even really participate in the conversations that much anyways.
After I left the bar, I immediately regretted it, because this brat was just standing here with his back leaning against the wall. Okay, I'm not going to lie, he actually looks good. He was wearing a leather jacket over a plain white shirt with a silver chain around his neck and some silver rings, simple yet good. If it wasn't for his attitude, I would have found him attractive, I think.
"Are you following me?" he suddenly spoke
I rolled my eyes,
"In your dreams."
"Why did you leave your best friend anyways?"
"I just wanted some air", he answered.
"Don't like crowded places too?"
"Yes, that. And also you."
"The fuck? What did I even do to you?"
"You're just annoying."
"And you are an asshole."
"Whatever. I'm going inside." With that words he entered the club again.
"What's his problem?" I asked myself before going inside after him.
