. . .
It was a Saturday.
That meant staying in my bed all day, watching rom-coms and getting fat. How fun is that? Oh trust me, it's the best kind of fun there is.
"Oh my God! That is too hysterical. How did Fat Amy even do that?!" I asked myself as I stuffed a handful of popcorn into my mouth. Apparently, when the Bella's were singing, Fat Amy managed to get tangled in the string and rip her pants and underwear on live television.
That means that the whole world saw her coochie.
I nearly choked on my popcorn when it happened. To prevent myself on any more gagging, I took a sip of the coke that was sitting next to me.
If you haven't noticed, food is like my best friend.
I was cut off by a ding going off on my computer. I frowned. The only person who ever Skype me was my sister, April. (She's in college now) And she barely Skyped me.
I opened the lid of my laptop and pressed the Skype icon. As usual, it was her.
"Hey April," I greeted through a full mouth of popcorn. "Sorry that you have to see me this way . . . you know how I get when I'm lonely." Her mouth broke into a grin.
"It' fine sis. How're you? Any cute guys at school? School work hard? Any rude girls?" She asked non-stop. Whenever April decides to call me, I always have to get ready to be bombarded with questions.
"To answer your questions," I started, a smirk forming at my lips. "Number 1, I'm good. Number 2, there is this one guy named Ashton. He's pretty cute, but extremely annoying an I'm not even sure if we're friends or not. but to be honest, I'm totally fine if we aren't because he is a pain in the ass. Number 3, work is is actually easy, and number 4, yes oh my gosh. There's this girl named Skylar and we've only known each other for a couple of weeks but I already dislike her. Apparently, she's seeking revenge on me because she thinks I like Ashton and she called 'dibs' on him. Stupid, right?" I rolled my eyes at her childishness. (Is that even a word?)
April sat up in her hair and looked at me as I were clueless.
"You must be blind, child," April chuckled. "You like Ashton! You just rambled on and on about him." I held up my middle finger.
"I will never-- and I mean ever like Ashton. Got it?" She held up her hands in surrender.
"Got it," She chuckled ten turned her head towards somebody. It must have been her boyfriend. "Anyways, I gotta go," She leaned in and whispered, "Blake is taking me on a date!" I laughed and muttered a goodbye then she hung up.
Out of me, Tara, and April, April and I were probably the closest. She just seems to understand me more than Tara does. That's why we always tell each other everything, no matter the situation.
I'm surprised that I haven't even made any friends at school yet. Usually, I'd make a best friend on the first day. Like last year, this girl named Nevaeh was really friendly to me and we hit it off on the first day. She became my best friend around the second week of school. Unfortunately, in the middle of the school year, she had to move all the way across the country.
I turned my attention back to my TV and continued watching Pitch Perfect 2. Suddenly, I burst out laughing.
The asian girl just said she was like Asian Jesus.
. . .
I slammed my locker shut and walked away from it as the warning bell rang. Must people dreaded Monday's, but honestly I didn't have a problem with them. They were just like any other school day-- to be honest.
