...

"Wow, what is this even called?! It tastes uhhh-maaaazing." I asked in between delightful moans. Ryder chuckled as he looked down at the menu. He encouraged me to try something I've never eaten before. That's another check off of my bucket list.

"I believe it's called _______. It's a pretty old dish, I'm surprised you haven't eaten it before." I grinned.

"Well I've never actually been to a FIVE star restaurant before, so it's pretty new to me." I picked up my fork and shoved a mouthful into my mouth. "Excuse my messy eating. This is just really good! I promise I'm not usually like this."

Ryder let out a heart laugh. "It's totally fine, I see where you're coming from. Anyway, I want to know more about you. What are some things that you like to do?"

I set down my fork and picked up a napkin. "Hm," I started, tapping my pointer-finger on the bottom of my chin. "Well one thing I really enjoy doing is writing. I also like singing and drawing. What about you?"

He sat back, drew out a puff of air, and tied his knuckles together. "In my spare time, I like playing football, cooking, and of course, playing my guitar." He finished with an admirable smile, as if he were imagining himself playing his guitar.

"Cooking? Nice. And you really are an amazing guitarist." I said, giving him a soft smile.

And through the rest of the night, we talked about things about ourselves, and not a single awkward moment popped up.

"Hey," He started, leaning his elbows on the table. "You feel like going skating sometime this week?"

"I'd love to."

"I'm going to Sparkles with Ryder tomorrow. Thankyou so much, Ashton! He's like-- oh my God he's perfect. Beautiful. And have you seen his lips?! Gosh, those lips--"

"Kyra, calm down," Ashton said with a chuckle as the person in front of us stepped onto to the stage. "I'm glad that you two worked out, I was secretly rooting for you guys."

"I mean it's not like we're dating or anything..."

"Yet." He finished with a smirk.

"Song?" The man in front of us asked, interrupting our conversation.

"Um, me & my good pal right here are going to sing Here by Alessia Cara."

Yes, Ashton and I were doing karaoke.

"Okay, after this young lady up here finishes it's you guys' turn to go up." I nodded gratefully with a smile and stepped down from the step with Ashton beside me.

The girl that was on the stage looked pretty short, maybe about 4'11. She had black hair at the roots and blonde hair following. Her dazzling brown eyes lit up her features.

She was gorgeous.

"Thankyou," The girl grinned, after receiving a standing ovation from the crowd. Ashton and I clapped simultaneously as we stepped up to the platform.

"I'm sorry if I seem uninterested, or I'm not listening, or I'm indifferent."

"Truly, I ain't got no business here, but since my friends are here, I just came to kick it!"

"But really I would rather be at home all by myself, not in this room with people who don't even care about my well-being.

Then the beat dropped.
