After such exhausting few days, the crews travelling schedule was finally back to normal as they have been on the road for an entire day following their last stop. They had came to a small forest inhabited by groups of pokemon rather than individual ones, as they were looking for a place to settle down and eat lunch. All in the meanwhile though, were three pairs of spying eyes.
"That twerp! He has no idea just how much profit is in that forest, letting it all roam around like that..." Jessie mumbled to herself, Meowth and James watching in the same exasperated manner. "And that twerpette should have never been chosen for the finale, it was obvious she'd lose against Aria." She said, admiring herself. "If I was still there, I would have won it no doubt." James only nodded in return, before taking the binoculars from Jessie and analyzing how the group was spread.
"Doesn't seem like they'll break up, how about we just try brute forcing our way through today?" James asked, before giving the binoculars back to Jessie. "Seems like a stupid idea but it's all we've got in the moment." Jessie snarked back, giving a small depression to James with her remark as she did so. So the three got to work, first making their way down from the three, with Wobbuffet following close behind. The trio watched the squad of young trainers set up a camp in the clearing, just enough far away from a small village along the road to not raise any suspicions.

Ash quickly got to work, carrying the table by himself while Clemont set up his own makeshift kitchen again. He wanted to learn how to cook a few of the meals Clemont knew, so that he'd have some Kalos food with him wherever he went to next. Besides, his cooking was really great and he wanted to eat the same things from time to time whenever he'd go back home.
Serena and Bonnie in the meanwhile, set out some food for the Pokemon. The little girl had got a bed for Squishy, since the green blob didn't eat anything but used photosynthesis instead. "At least it cuts down on the food cost." She thought to herself, before making her way over to the young performer. "All done, Serena?"
She nodded. "Yeah, now we can just sit back and relax." Bonnie had an idea at that moment though, as she smiled at Serena. "Oh, I know! How about you and I try out some makeup?" She asked excitedly. Serena was unsure about it, last time she had done it was a few days ago right before the title fight finale. She didn't want to break Bonnie's heart though, also excited about what Ash would think, so she agreed and the two of them went back, getting in their tents already.
Ash and Clemont smiled at them doing stuff together again, something that seemed to be happening more often nowadays. "I'm glad she's not thinking about the title fight for now..." Ash said to himself out loud, Clemont nodding in return. "Bonnie always wanted a sister to herself, whether it be an older or younger one."
Ash grinned. "Well, she's got one now, doesn't she?" The two of them laughed, as they made their way into a level piece of field where they could train after the pokemon were done eating. At that though, sounds of mechanical footsteps could be heard and the next thing they knew, Pikachu was heard crying out. "Pikachu!" Ash yelled, looking towards where the mouse pokemon was, only to realize who were the culprits behind the commotion.
"Prepare for trouble..." Jessie started off their signature motto. "And make it double!" James added, before they did the rest of their lines and posed all together, Wobbuffet joining in. "Pikachu's ours now, twerp. We've come to take some of the wildlife as well."
Ash gritted his teeth. "Just how many failed attempts will it take for you guys to realize that you won't succeed?" Jessie waved her finger, in a teasing manner. "You're the one to talk, after all the losses with your never give up crap!" She stated angrily.
