TW: The Z word 😞😞
_____

1 week later...
Drew's POV.

. . .

It's been a week since me and Jake made up.

And sorta made out...But that's besides the point.

It's been a week, and we're actually doing great..

Even though there's no official label on our relationship, so we're kinda like...Secret friends with benifits...?

We're both fine with that.

Nobody knows we've made up, but we still make time to hang out with each other everyday.

We even went on a date during the weekend-

But really, everything was good...

Until Monday came around...

_____

I leaned against my locker, texting Jake, while Henry and Liam were busy flirting beside me.

Me and Jake were planning to meet in the library in a few minutes.

I glanced over at Henry and Liam, before tucking my phone in my shorts pocket.

"Hey, guys, I'll be back in a bit-Council duties.." I lied, pushing myself off my locker.

Henry laughed.

"Ha! You said duties!"

I rolled my eyes.

"What are you, 7?" I asked sarcastically.

"Heyy! I'm 16, practically an adult!"

I chuckled.

"Whatever you say...I'm leaving now."

Liam raised a brow.

"Wait, dude...You're not even on the council-?"

I paused.

Surprised he even noticed that..

"No, but I still help out sometimes."

Which wasn't exactly a lie?

Daisy sometimes asked for help with council tasks if it's too much for her.

"Since when do you ever help anyone-" Henry asked.

Liam snapped his fingers.

"Oh! I get it."

"You must have a thing for Daisy!"

I facepalmed myself.

"You guys are idiots. I'm leaving."

Henry and Liam laughed.

I turned around to leave, but I was interrupted when a loud, and annoying voice yelled my name-

"Not too fast, Drewy-Bear!!"

Or technically, yelled a very annoying nickname of mine..

I groaned, already knowing it was.

"Buzz off Zoey, I'm busy." I said in an annoyed tone.

"Yeah, you certainly have been busy..." She murmured, coming closer to me.

I raised a brow.

"Anyway. I think you might be interested in what I have to say." She said smirking.

I chuckled.

"Well, you've never really been good at thinking, have you?" I asked sarcastically.

To my surprise, she didn't even react.
