I just had a mental shift.
Usually, I find mental shifts interesting, even a little fun sometimes, as it gives me species euphoria, but this was not a happy shift.
I was in the closet, and there was a mirror. So, when I shifted, I was scared of the reflection. I then tried to get out of the closet, but the door was closed. I clawed desperately at the door, as that was where there were sunlight. Then, I saw my hands, realized I was human, and the shift ended. Thankfully, I didn't make too much noise so my parents didn't notice.
I'm still a little scared from that. Did Crystal get trapped in a cage somewhere? Maybe that's why I felt trapped during my shift.
