Callum wasn't nervous.

That's what he believed despite picking at his fingers and fidgeting with the stings of the oversized hoodie they'd given him.

The Brit sat at the table, staring at the two-way mirror, waiting for the detectives. Callum recalled the last time he was brought into a station was when his father was murdered. He had lied to the police the first time, hoping to protect his boyfriend who had strict parents. Said boyfriend told them everything anyway despite telling Callum to lie.

Callum slumped in his chair, sighing at the memory. He hadn't done anything wrong. He tried saving Bunny. Was that what Marcus thought?

"Well, well... Callum Magnus," Detective Kreps stated with a smirk as he walked into the interview room alongside Detective Williams. Was this some sort of good cop, bad cop sh*t? Or was Kreps just usually this annoying?

"It's Stoker now," Callum informed in a calm voice, knowing that Kreps was just trying to get under his skin.

"Sorry?"

"My surname, I changed it to Stoker," the Brit added, correcting his posture.

"To your mother's maiden name?" Detective Kreps inquired, a humoured look with a raised eyebrow on his face.

"My mother's surname is Magnus. Stoker was my dad's."

"He must of really loved her to give up his surname," Kreps commented causing Callum to scoff and fold his arms over his chest. Suddenly it is a great deal if a man gives up his surname instead of the woman. "Must have hurt when she—"

"You're getting off-topic, Detective," Callum noted, a slight anger in his tone.

"Tell us what happened when you and Mabel left Charles and Oliver," Detective Williams interjected, her expression had not changed since they got arrested.

"We walked down to her flat from—"

"Flat?" Kreps interrupted, questioning the Brit's words.

"Apartment," Callum mocked in an American accent before continuing. "We go in, there's no one there. I get a text, then a few seconds later Bunny stumbles out with a knitting needle sticking out of her. So we help her as best we can before the police break down the door and arrest us for trying to save Bunny." Callum was surprised at how calm he had kept his tone.

"Bullsh*t," Kreps exclaimed making the Brit jump slightly. "You're telling me she just magically appeared into Mabel's apartment."

"I don't know, you're the detective," quipped Callum, pulling down the sleeves of his navy hoodie so they would cover his hands. "She was bleeding a lot so I'm guessing she wasn't stabbed with a f*cking knitting needle."

"Do you know how many times?" Detective Kreps asked in a cold tone as he leaned forward.

"Did you want me to count while I was trying to save her life?" the Brit asked, annoyance now clearly present in his tone. Williams shot him a warning look.

"Eight f*cking times. Quite a coincidence, wouldn't you say?"

"I have no clue," Callum replied, arms still folded over his chest. His father.
