- Andrea Cheng's POV

I rush to my room, gathering all the chocolate I have wrapped nicely with a romantic touch of red ribbons. Giving it a quick glance, a smile spreads widely across my lips. Finally, Valentine's Day! I have been waiting for this moment since forever, really.

"Whoa, Andrea! Such a big bouquet! Whom do ya' got to confess, man?" Serene's voice gives me a brief electrical shock to my bones. Probably I was too engrossed on analyzing the bouquet I have made with love.

Raising my brows abruptly, I turn around for a while. "As if ya' don't know who I've been stalkin' for years." Laughs and giggles fill the entire shared apartment of ours. I hasten my hands on working with my shoe ties. They keep untying themselves, which I swear is more annoying then Serene's loud snores whenever she sleeps.

"Break a leg, girl! Ya' got the fairy godmother's wish!" Serene's cheerful assurance only fuels my determination even further. Ya' got to be dreamin' if Zach rejects me...

...

"Hey Zach." My steps against the stairs make creaking sounds. Zachary, on the other hand, is looking inside his locker, he might had lost his calculator. Again.

Zachary's head popped, his angelic smile filled my heart with invisible flowers. This man's lit! Oh, those green eyes... "Sup, Andrea? Wow, nice bouquet, kid! Someone's about to end her singleness, yes?"

His casual laughter, always the same. But I would never get tired of hearing it. Wrapping my left hand around his arm, I spoke in a low tone. "Meet me at the place where we firstly met." A chuckle that I try to suppress escaped my lips. At least not loud enough to be considered a weirdo.

It was not hard to read the emotion on Zachary's face. He seems pretty doubted, which I already expected. "I'll wait at 3. See ya' there, Zach!"

With a small wave of promising goodbye, I walk away with the red wrap I got on my hand - tons of eyes looking at it with various emotions. Some might think it looks cool or maybe if those persons have the same mindset as me, I would look like a clown in their eyes. Pretty cringe, in my personal opinion.

...

(3 PM, school's cafeteria.)

Tick, tick. Times keep passing and I could feel my legs cramping because of the same place I have been sitting since 2 PM.

Zach, just where the hell are ya...

My phone buzzing make my deep stare quickly vanished. My fingers instantly creep into my backpack, taking out my phone in extreme eagerness. This must be Zach calling. Yes, he would inform me he is on his way whilst apologizing that he comes late because he was stopping by to get me some gifts too. Sheesh!

Incoming call: Zachy Boo 🥵❤️

I told ya! I never once guessed wrongly, he he...

"Hello there. Y- yeah? Oh, well. Um, yeah. It's- no, no don't trouble yourself. Yeah, I'm good. Nah, nah it's okay I'm good man. Yeah. Alright. Talk to you soon. Goodbye."

Seconds passed and I felt too numb to speak. For real? It ends just like that? I did not even started yet!

"Hello, Andrea. Sorry to inform ya that unfortunately I have to go to Lynn's place. Are you at the cafeteria? I could stop by and give you a ride. No need, really? We can actually talk inside my car before I drop you by. Alright, if you insist. I'll see you tomorrow at school. Sorry, hm? Goodbye."
