I knew this was what Damon was hinting at but I didn't want to accept it.This law was made with our allies to merge when our enemies multiplied.
It had been years since that happened,all thanks to my parent's love marraige,but for my case it's an arranged marriage.
This is why I didn't let ivy go when Fatima saw me,it was to protect her from them.These people were dangerous and if they found out that I had married Fatima, she would have been killed.I needed to protect her,all her life would be at stake.
Every female child of our allies would kill to marry me, because I was in the strongest mafia,they wanted the most power.
I had the final say but the women would eliminate any threat in their way,I had to protect Fatima at all cost.
I wanted to be done with the mafia but it wasn't easy,there would never let me be.They would be after me and that would endanger Fatima.
Staying will endanger her and leaving will too,I don't even know what to do.My hands are tied.
After Damon and ivy left I went to our bedroom to find her sitting in bed with her head down.
I sat beside her, and held her face in my hands.Her face was wet with tears.Her eyes held so much sadness,it hurt me so much seeing her like this.
Isaac: I did this to protect you.( I told her everything,after I was done she looked Abit relieved and laid her head on my chest)
I understood her pain,she had been betrayed once.Her heart couldn't handle anymore, she had every right to be upset.
The next day things got worse as both Damon and ivy came.Then Lora,another daughter of a our allies mafia.
Ivy: what are you doing here!
Lora:the same as you, am here to claim Isaac(Fatima dropped a plate.)
Fatima: sorry.
Ivy: stupid maid
Isaac:hey!I will not sit here and allow you to insult her!(damon raised an eyebrow)
Damon: oh really (shoot.I realized that I had acted out and with the way they were looking at me,they suspected something)
Lora: and who is she to you?
Isaac:my maid.
Lora:she seems more than that(she said eyeing Fatima)
Isaac: what's your business here?
Lora: same as everyone,I want to get married to you(Fatima tensed up,I clenched my jaw at that.)
Isaac:you may leave Fatima (Fatima quickly left)
Isaac: it's impossible
Lora: why,am the daughter of a powerful mafia.
Ivy: that's because he is getting married to me.
Lora: that won't be possible
Ivy:how about this, when I get married to Isaac,we will become a family and merge then you can marry his brother in law,my brother.
Damon: what the fuck
Ivy:oh come on Damion,I am sacrificing you should too,Lora isn't that bad
Lora: enough!I only want Isaac and I will get Isaac.
