Days turned into weeks, and Ethan's heartache deepened as the friendship between him and Lily seemed to fade away. His teachers noticed his sadness and talked to his parents, but they didn't know why Ethan was feeling so down. They just told the teachers it was normal teenage stuff.
Ethan got invited to a friend's birthday party, which brought a glimmer of hope. But during the party, one of his friends saw a message from Lily on Ethan's phone and made fun of him for it. They teased him in front of everyone, sharing private messages and making Ethan feel embarrassed and exposed.
This breach of trust caused Lily to pull away from Ethan, and their friendship started to feel distant. Ethan tried to reach out to Lily online, but she blocked him on all her main accounts, leaving him feeling rejected and hurt.

And unexpectedly, it became true that same day.
Ethan was now lonely, all of his efforts just for one friendship were all destroyed. Ethan didn't even want his feelings to come between his friendship. But unluckily all of his nightmares become true. All those promises of Lily that she will never leave Ethan's friendship were all false. And Ethan's faith in every friendship was now completely over.
