After a debrief with the girls and a nice fresh vanilla frappe, I had all my thoughts sorted out.

I think.

Staring at the diagram Chloe decided to draw, the puzzle pieces were finally in place. I think.

"That is the messiest flow chart ever

"That is the messiest flow chart ever." Danny jokes.

"You're just jealous of my beautiful, glorious, amazing pink iPad." Chloe counters.

"Whatever."

"I still don't see the correlation here." Sierra admits.

"Me too." I am just as lost as she is. I genuinely don't see a connection. I'm debating pretending that I do see a connection.

"When was the last time you hooked up with anybody?" Danny asks.

"2 months ago. Why?"

"And who was it that you hooked up with?" Chloe questions.

"Jay."

Sierra looked like a lightbulb went off in her miniature brain, "and how much sexual chemistry did you 2 have?"

"So, so much."

They looked at me as I slowly put everything together.

"I only kissed him because I'm in the middle of a dry spell and he was the last person I hooked up with!" I said.. way too loud.

I received a few angry stares, "Sorry."

"There you go." Danny said, a small smile on my face.

"Now, we are all going to go back to our respective activities. Next time you call me out of my self care time to come and help you with some basic ass shit, I will kick your ass." Chloe said gathering her belongings.

I took a sip of my drink, but all I tasted was uncertainty. I could only hope that the girls were right because I most certainly had no way of knowing the real reason I kissed Jay.
