Konohamaru's accidental collision with the imposing male resulted in a tense confrontation, the man's grip tightening around the young boy's collar. "You damn brat!" The male scowled.

"Put him down or we will get scolded later," The blonde accompanying him intervened, her tone firm yet diplomatic as she urged him to release Konohamaru before they faced repercussions.

"We are so sorry, we were just fooling around." "Hey, stop that! Let go of him!" Sakura attempted to defuse the situation with an apology, while Naruto's impulsive outcry only seemed to escalate tensions. I couldn't help but sigh inwardly at the unnecessary confrontation, realising that Naruto's hot-headedness wasn't going to help matters.

"Let's play with them before the strict one comes around. You're pretty lively you little punk," He said.

As Naruto rushed forward, intent on confronting the stranger, a sudden interruption halted his advance. A rock, expertly aimed and thrown by Sasuke, struck the man's arm, causing him to release Konohamaru in surprise.

"Tell me, what are you guys doing in our village?" Sasuke's question cut through the tension, his demeanour calm yet authoritative as he demanded an explanation from the strangers. I couldn't shake the feeling that Sasuke had acted deliberately, strategically using the distraction to protect Konohamaru and assert control over the situation.

"Sasuke!" Sakura squealed like a fangirl.

"Oh, look. Another little brat," the male sneered, eyeing Sasuke with disdain.

"Get lost," Sasuke shot back, his tone cutting.

"Big bro, you're lame," Konohamaru whimpered to Naruto, clearly intimidated by the exchange. I couldn't help but stifle a laugh at the boy's candid observation.

"Hey, come down here, you little punk," the male commanded, his aggression palpable. "You're the kind of smart-aleck little punk that I despise the most."

Just as it seemed like the confrontation might escalate further, the air grew heavy with an ominous presence, causing a tense silence to fall over the scene.

"Kankuro, stop that," the voice rasped, the voice sounded no older than me and he seemed stronger than all of us. "You're an embarrassment to our village."

"G-Garra," Kankuro stuttered, clearly intimidated by the presence.

"Why do you think we came all the way here to the Leaf Village?" Gaara replied, his voice cold and menacing.

Kankuro attempted to apologize, stammering, "P-Please listen to me, Gaara. T-they lashed out first."

"Shut up," Gaara spat, his tone dripping with malice. "I'll kill you."

His words hung in the air like a heavy shroud, sending a chill down our spines. What did he mean by that?

"Understood, I was wrong," Kankuro managed to say without stuttering. "I'm really, really sorry."

"I apologise for his behaviour," Gaara added, his tone surprisingly calm. "We didn't come here to play around," Gaara reiterated, his demeanour serious.

As Gaara began to leave, I stepped forward. "Wait," I called out, prompting him to turn around.

"Yes?" Gaara replied, his expression unreadable.
