Walk This Way ~ Aerosmith
𑁍
Rhodey kept falling faster from up in the sky, Tony and Sam immediately trying to go after him.
Cameron ran as fast as she could as she followed him with her eyes.
"Come on", she muttered under her breath as she put her hands by her sides. She took a deep breath before focusing all her powers on the ground beneath her feet.
All of a sudden as she kept running her feet left the ground as she managed to use her powers to fly. She managed to get faster to Rhodey, but he was falling too fast so when she was at a good distance she stopped ok the ground and raised her hands.
Before he could hit the ground a purple energy wrapped around him. Cameron cried out in pain as she used all her energy to slow down his fall.
After a short while she managed to control his fall, not causing him to crash. She took a deep breath as she regained her strength, her veins still burning. She watched from not too far as Tony immediately went by Rhodey's side, Sam also joining him shortly after.
She slowly walked closer to them and flinched when Tony blasted Sam away.
Tony sighed heavily as he stood by Rhodey's side. He didn't know what that purple energy was or where it came from, but it had saved his friend and he was glad, even if still pissed.
Suddenly he heard footsteps approaching and he slowly looked up. As he did his breath got caught in his throat. It had to be an illusion.
Cameron, his daughter, was standing right in front of him. Just like all those years ago when he first saw her.
For the last years every single night he had been having nightmares of her death. He should have done more, he should've saved her. Almost every day he went to her grave and gave her flowers, no one other than him, Natasha and Clint visited it.
Now she just couldn't be standing in front of him. She was different, but somehow still the exact same. She looked at him, he could see the hurt and the sadness in her eyes. He kept repeating to himself that it wasn't real, but she was right there.
Before he could say anything he suddenly heard the sound of footsteps approaching, making him briefly turn around. He looked as Vision slowly approached him, but his mind was still fixated on his daughter.
When he turned back around, though, she wasn't there anymore. Maybe she was just an illusion, but inside him he knew she was real.

Tony stood in the hospital hallway after talking with Vision, well mainly scolding him. Thankfully the doctors had said that Rhodey was fine and he was just going to need some rest, thanks to whatever that purple energy was, which Tony had pretty much figured had come from Cameron.
He sighed looking down until he heard some footsteps. He turned around and saw Natasha, who was worriedly looking at him.
Soon the two moved to a separate hallway and stood in front of a big window.
"The doctors said he's fine, he just needs some rest", Tony told her as they looked out the window.
"Steve's not gonna stop. If you don't either, Rhodey's gonna be best case scenario", Natasha told him seriously.
"Did you know?", Tony simply asked ignoring what she had just told him.
"What?", she asked him confused.
"Did you know my daughter was alive?", he asked her, fully turning to look at her. Nat took a deep breath before looking down.
"Yes, but I wasn't sure until today", she told him slowly.
"Did you know that Rhodey managed to not get any form of paralysis because before he could fall some purple energy wrapped around him and it slowed his fall? Right after that I saw her and, you know, I'm pretty sure it was her", Tony told her, already knowing that Nat probably knew about her powers too.
"Tony, I'm sorry". she told him softly.
"Yeah, and I'm sorry I mourned my daughter for three damn years and I now find her right in front of me with powers. You knew this and you didn't tell me. It's just like how you let them go today. You just can't shake the whole double agent thing, can you? It sticks in the DNA", he told her harshly.
"Are you incapable of letting go of your ego for one goddamn second?", Natasha asked him through gritted teeth. Maybe he shouldn't have said that, but he was just so confused and pissed that he didn't really care about what he was saying anymore.
"T'Challa told Ross what you did, so they're coming for you", Tony simply told her.
"I'm not the one that needs to watch their back", she told him angrily before walking away.

Cameron watched out of the small window of the airplane as she got closer to Siberia. After the whole fight she did some digging on Zemo and realised that maybe his plan was something more than using those super soldiers and she feared that Steve and Bucky were walking straight in a trap.
So, she had ran away and managed to create a fake passport and buy a ticket to Siberia, she was still a Stark after all so it hadn't been hard to do all of that in a few minutes.
After a few hours she finally arrived and immediately made her way out of the airport. She walked through the cold streets and kept her eyes on a guy with a motorcycle. When she saw that he left to go inside a shop she immediately made her way to the motorcycle and played with some wires until she heard the low rumble of the engine.
She didn't look back as she began driving, going straight to the Hydra Base. She had been there for almost three years and she knew the way all too well.
As she drove she couldn't help the bad feeling growing inside her, it kept telling her that something was going to go wrong. And she hoped she was wrong.
