SCREAMS ECHOED THROUGHOUT the area as Kaia and Ashlyn reacted the next instant with Kaia grabbing Ashlyn's arm, yanking her away from the creature, not even realizing it had cut the back of her arm as Kaia had intercepted the creature from reaching out and grabbing Ashlyn. She didn't even process the harsh stinging sensation that bloomed along her arm as Aiden reached out, gripping at Kaia's other arm and pulling her towards him as she and Ashlyn stumbled with Ashlyn slipping from Kaia's grip and stumbling to the ground at her feet.

Kaia couldn't even process that she was stood within Aiden's arm, her hand clenching at his shirt as she panted, staring towards the now empty area where the terrifying creature had once stood smiling down at her and Ashlyn. She shook as her eyes searched the area around her as she frowned, where the fuck did it go...?

She blinked, feeling a small stinging sensation in her left arm and frowned as she felt a little dizzy. She glanced to the side, realizing her position in Aiden's arms and her eyes widen as she stumbled out of them. "You saw that too, right?" She questioned as she looked up at him as Aiden seem to shake off the slight fear he had felt as he grinned down at her.

"Maybe it was one of the ghosts you were so adamant didn't exist?" He chuckled slyly. "They're coming to prove themselves to you, Kai."

Kaia scoffed, frowning as she shook her head, not replying as she turned away from him. She wanted to deny it, but she felt that presence, she saw it right there and could practically feel it's stare on her still. Maybe the douche bag was right... Were ghosts actually real...? That's impossible right? But then, what else would explain that feeling she felt, she swore that thing touched her...
