The morning had that calming, serene feel to it. The sun was just peaking slowly from behind the horizon, painting the sky in a peaceful shade of pink. Birds were singing, adding their soothing symphony to the tranquil atmosphere. The smell of freshly baked bread wafting in the air, combined with the gentle breeze, created a relaxing atmosphere. There was nothing better than this peaceful morning to enjoy a cup of coffee and listen to the sweet sound of the birdsong.

It wasn't just an ordinary day, today was the beginning of my 3rd year at Hogwarts.
Amara placed her green and silver colored robes of my house, carrying her belongings in a trunk and a satchel.

As a Slytherin student, Amara always found the station 9 ¾ to be a fascinating place. It was the connection between the Muggle world and the magical world, a gateway to a mysterious and exciting world beyond my own. Just walking up to the brick wall and pushing her trolley through to the other side felt like stepping into another universe. There was something exhilarating and thrilling about it, like entering a world of possibilities and unknowns. It was both intimidating and fascinating, and it always filled me with a sense of anticipation and excitement.

The entrance to platform 9 3/4 was tucked away in a narrow alley, hidden between two shops that sold broomsticks and robes respectively. There was nothing particularly remarkable about it, save for a rather unsavory-looking man with a long coat and a pointed hat who stood there with a stern look on his face. He seemed to be constantly muttering to himself, though whether he was guarding the platform or simply having an argument with himself was anyone's guess. The platform itself was little more than a wall painted a vivid green color, yet it was nonetheless the gate.

Upon entering the station, a warm, comfortable aura envelops one, giving one the sense that one is indeed in a magical place. Though unassuming, the station is a portal to a wonderous world of magic and mayhem.
The students could feel the platform rumbling, the air heating up from the heat of the train's boiler, and the distinct smell of fire and magic mixed together in the atmosphere. The platform was packed with other students, and despite the long lines and wait time for the train, there was a sense of anticipation and excitement in the air.

The student couldn't help but feel a tingle of nervousness as the train drew closer.

Amara was going into her third year at Hogwarts, and her mind is filled with butterflies and nerves. There are so many new things to learn, new classes to take, and people to meet. She is especially excited for potions and dueling, as she has always excelled in those subjects, although she is also a bit apprehensive about the new teacher for the Dark Arts class, as she has heard he can be a bit strict and abrasive.

Additionally, she is curious about new friends, as she hopes to form deeper connections with her classmates. In short, she is both anxious and eager for the year ahead.

As she found her seat in the Slytherin compartment, her friend Pansy took the seat right beside her, which filled her mind with feelings of relief. While Amara had a pureblood background from her family and was sorted into Slytherin and was a part of the Sacred Twenty-Eight.

Amara can be described as an observant and insightful person who is often the quiet one in the room. She has a no bullshit policy and prefers to keep things real and direct. She doesn't sugarcoat her words or mince her manners, instead preferring to let her actions speak for her. Despite her quiet nature, her observations are perceptive and her insight is profound.

The compartment was filling up with more and more Slytherins, as she engaged in a conversation with Pansy and Theodore, the compartment gradually filled up with more Slytherins, their voices joining the atmosphere in the tight space.

As Amara looked around, she noticed that the seat beside Blaise was empty, that area usually occupying Draco's presence. This left her wondering, would Draco make an appearance today? The question had occupied her mind, as she couldn't help but wonder if he would join them or not.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, the Slytherin compartment was thrown wide open, revealing an unsuspected figure of a Hufflepuff prefect which left Amara feeling disappointed to realize it wasn't Draco. The thought struck her.

"What was a Hufflepuff prefect be doing here?"

This puzzling and disappointing revelation left her a bit confused.
In a surprising turn of events, the Ravenclaw prefect and Amara locked eyes, only for him to look away with haste. After he cleared his throat, he spoke, his voice sounding a bit rough and raspy.

"Miss Beaumont, I would like to talk to you regarding something."

This caught Amara by surprise, and her thoughts were filled with confusion as she nodded her head in agreement. Despite the lack of information, she decided to follow the Hufflepuff outside, for further discussion.

The Hufflepuff prefect, addressed her once they were outside, stating.

"I am Cedric Diggory, the Hufflepuff prefect."

Amara nodded in acknowledgement of her identity, saying.

"I am Amara Beaumont."

Cedric gave a slight nod before continuing.

"This might be a bit too sudden," Cedric spoke, "but as you're now in 3rd year, you must be allowed to visit Hogsmeade. What do you say, miss Beaumont? Would you like to visit Hogsmead with me?"

He inquired, his tone deep and rough. She could detect a glint of hope in his eyes, which was quite attractive.

Surprise and bewilderment filled Amara as she considered Cedric's  unexpected invitation. She couldn't help but feel a bit flustered and confused by his deep and rough voice, especially as he seemed to hold a glint of hope in his eyes. It was all quite unexpected, and she was caught off-guard by it. She found herself speechless, not knowing how to respond.

After slowly gathering her thoughts, she managed to reply in a soft, quiet voice,

"Yes... I would love to visit Hogsmead with you."

The Hufflepuff smiled, "So meet you soon, Miss Beaumont".

As the Hufflepuff flashed a stunning smile and a lingering wink, her heart skipped a beat at his charm and rugged good looks. After he vanished into the compartment, she was left utterly entranced and feeling completely bewildered by the. He turned and disappeared into the compartment.

As Amara was just about to make her way to the Slytherin compartment, she was startled by a voice calling out to her.

"Got a new boyfriend, Beaumont?"

A/N: Although I aim for Amara's portrayal to align with the reader's interpretation, I envision her as Anne Hathaway resembling a youthful look.
