Chapter 16

"Snotlout," I call as he turns around to me. "Did you make the fire?" 

"Uhhh" he scratches the back of his neck. "kind of." 

"What do you mean, kind of?" Astrid asks, next to me. 

"I built the fire, but this weird thing blew it off, I couldn't figure out what it was." snotlout explains. 

"What?" astrid asks. 

"Oh please," ruffnut scoffs. "this is another one of his little games, there is nothing weird." 

"Oh come on!" snotlout yells. "I mean it! There was this weird thing and it blew it off, and I couldn't tell what it was." 

"How did you not see what it was?" 

"It was dark!" Snotlout yelled. "but it was big, it was huge." 

"Well, we might have a big problem about what it was." Hiccup calmed us down. "snotlout, build the fire again. But this time, we'll be around it so see what it was." 

"Are you guys serious?" ruffnut rolls her eyes. "This is all crap! We're wasting our time when we should be making a plan to defeat viggo grimborn." 

"She's right, hiccup. We can't risk this chance at beating viggo." fishlegs joins in. 

"I know, i know." hiccup sighs. "but we have to get the fire up and fast." 

"I must say, the place asta and astrid picked is perfect." fishlegs adds, looking around himself. 

"Snotlout, do you have any more of that monstrous nightmare gel? We need it to make the fire." hiccup asks. 

"Yeah," snotlout picks up a container. "But this is the last of it. There's no more. And if we don't have any more of monstrous nightmare..." 

"There's no fire." I finish for him. "We can't get that fire blown out. Maybe we can get a shelter or cover over it." 

"She's right." fishlegs nods. 

"Well, just in luck," tuffnut says as ruffnut steps next to him. "me and ruffnut are one of the best shelter makers in town, we also just got a certificate, or award you can say for our amazing structures and houses we built." 

"That's not true." Astrid crosses her arms over her chest. "You two built something, and then destroyed it, remember? You guys never build anything useful or important." 

"Im not sure if that's something amazing or bad." tuffnut scratches his chin. "but we can built." 

"And if it falls down and breaks like everything else you have built?" I raise an eyebrow as they shrug. "alright, the twins can build." 

"What?!" snotlout yells. "How can you let them build? How can you trust them?" 

"We just have to trust them." I sigh. 

"None of us are the best at building, snotlout, you can help the twins building it and take care of them. The rest of us will most likely have to search and collect the materials." hiccup says. 

"Search and collect the materials?" I sigh. "well, the faster we get to do it, the faster we get to make the shelter." 

"Uh guys?" fishlegs asks as we all turn to him, pointing at the horizon. "there's a huge storm coming our way." we all notice the huge cloud above the water. It was extremely dark. And it definitely not screamed good news. 

"A storm." Astrid sighs. "the thing we just needed." 

"the shelter might help the storm from hitting us." I shrug. "let's get going, the shelter or cover won't build itself."
