The car ride was enveloped in a heavy silence, the only sound the soft hum of the engine as they drove through the quiet streets. Taehyung and Jayti sat side by side, lost in their own thoughts, the weight of their newfound commitment hanging heavy between them.

Despite the tension that lingered in the air, neither of them spoke. Each lost in their own thoughts, contemplating the uncertain path that lay ahead. For Taehyung, it was a whirlwind of conflicting emotions-fear, uncertainty, and a flicker of something new that he couldn't quite name. And for Jayti, it was a mix of apprehension and cautious optimism, tempered by the lingering doubts that still haunted her mind.

The silence in the car was shattered by Taehyung's harsh words. His voice cut through the tension like a knife as he turned to Jayti, his tone laced with bitterness.

"You must be thrilled, huh?" he sneered, his words dripping with sarcasm. "Marrying your bias must be a dream come true for you."

His words hung heavy in the air, each syllable laced with contempt. Jayti recoiled slightly, taken aback by the venom in his tone. It was clear that Taehyung's words were not meant to comfort or console, but to wound.

As the car continued on its journey through the night, the weight of Taehyung's words lingered between them, casting a hurtful atmosphere.

Jayti's heart sank at Taehyung's cutting words, but she refused to let his bitterness affect her. Steeling herself against the hurt, she met his gaze with a steady resolve.

"I didn't marry my bias," she replied evenly, her voice calm despite the turmoil within her. "I married a stranger-a man who seems to have forgotten what it means to show basic decency and respect."

Her words hung in the air, a silent challenge to Taehyung's harshness. But instead of backing down, he only seemed to grow more incensed.

"A stranger?" he scoffed, his voice dripping with disdain. "More like a nuisance-a burden I never asked for."

The sting of his words cut deep, but Jayti refused to let him see her falter. Instead, she squared her shoulders and met his gaze with unwavering determination.

"Well, if that's how you feel," she said coolly, "then perhaps it's best we both embrace the roles we've been given and make the most of this arrangement."

With that, the conversation fell into a tense silence once more, the weight of their words hanging heavy in the air. As the car pressed on into the night, Jayti couldn't help but wonder what lay ahead for them on this tumultuous journey they had embarked upon.

As the car pulled up to Taehyung's house, he wasted no time in unbuckling his seatbelt and stepping out onto the house. Without so much as a glance in Jayti's direction, he strode purposefully towards the front door, leaving her to fend for herself.

Jayti watched silently as Taehyung stormed out of the car, his movements quick and determined. She couldn't help but feel a pang of hurt as he made no effort to assist her, leaving her to struggle out of the car on her own.

As she watched him go, the distance between them growing with each step he took. Clutching her bag tightly to her chest, she hesitated for a moment before mustering the strength to follow after him.

Every step felt like a struggle, each movement a painful reminder of the rift that had formed between them. But Jayti refused to let her emotions get the better of her.

As she finally reached the front door, she paused for a moment, bracing herself for whatever lay ahead. With a heavy heart, she pushed open the door and stepped inside. But before she could gather her thoughts, Taehyung had already disappeared inside, leaving her standing alone on the doorstep.
