Days have passed since the battle with Tapu Bulu, Niku decided to attend the Island Trials so he decided to head to the school not as a student but as a spectator just to observe things. Everyone appears to comfortable with Niku and his Eevee around. Niku spent most time training and shopping around town to help and learn new things. Right now Niku, Eevee, Ash, Pikachu and Rotom Dex were walking to school when they're met a by a Litten, who ran to Niku's leg rubbing against him.

Niku: Oh hey Litten.
Ash: Wait you know this Litten?
Pikachu: Pika?
Niku: Yeah, I've met it a long time ago. It live's with me.
Rotom Dex: Litten. A Fire Type. The Fire Cat Pokemon. It doesn't allow it's emotions to be easily seen. Earning its trust takes time. It prefers solitude.
Ash: Wait so it's yours?
Niku: No it's not mine. It's still wild. It just trusts me to do a certain task for it and how I've earned it well I don't know how.
The Litten walked over to Ash rubbing his leg.
Ash: Well, I wonder if it's hungry?
Niku: Always is but not just himself.
Ash: What do you mean?
Niku: It's nothing.
Niku reached into his little bag behind him and pulled out a Occa Berry who gladly ate it. Ash reached into his bag, pulling out his lunch.
Ash: Look, this is my lunch today.

Niku looked at was what he was doing and a sweatdrop came down along with Eevee.
Niku: Ash, I wouldn't....
Ash: Huh, what?
As Ash pulled out the sandwhich Litten looked over to the sandwhich with Ash not looking and snatched the whole sandwhich out of his hands and ran away.
