'What if we never randomly spoke that night?'
It would suck, I know it would because if we never exchanged that conversation, I would never know that I could decide to love someone so purely. If we never had that conversation where we shared our fucked up and unhinged experiences, I would never know that love can still occur despite the flaws and mistakes of a person. If we never talked, we wouldn't have become best friends. If we never talked, I would never have the idea that someone could love me as I am, that someone would be so patient and kind to me. I would never know that I could love this hard and all of it would never go to waste.
