So basically Voldemort decided to have a kid whilst he could.
He got overpowered by Lily and James (power couple!) because James didn't forget his wand and Lily used her special ancient love magic or something.
They turned Peter in, and Voldemort is gone by the power of Wattpad. Don't question it.
And as for Sirius Black? That man will never settle down (bc he's mine ofc).
